once i get to about a foot from the edge i sit down and pat the ground beside me to tell noah to sit.

after a solid 5 minutes of an awkward silence he starts to say "look james, im sorry i haven't been talking to you. i really wanted to but i was nervous that someone would find out, that wilbur would tell toby or something. i know that's not an excuse for being an asshole, but will you forgive me?"

i stare at my feet for a moment then look at him. "i'm not mad. i was honestly just really worried! so yes i totally forgive you and understand but please noah just talk to me next time!"

"maybe we should put on some music, lighten the mood?" he suggests with a smile. "i left my phone at home on accident, but your welcome to put something on!" noah pulls out his phone and opens spotify, he shuffles a random playlist and sets his phone down when 'space song' starts playing.

noah stands up and holds out his hand to help me up. we are standing really close when he puts his hands on my waist, i put mine on his shoulders. we sway slowly to the song.

he chuckles slightly as he pulls me closer, foreheads touching. i look deep in noah's eyes as he is to me. he leans down and our lips touch, moving in sync. i wish i could stay in this moment forever. just the two of us.

but i get pulled out of thought when the music is interrupted by the generic apple ringtone. our lips disconnect left with a string of saliva breaking as noah bends down to answer his phone.

"hey toby why'd you call? ... oh i just went for a walk, sorry i know i left stream early. i just needed some air ... yes, sorry for not telling you where i was going ... i don't know what time i'll be back, tell chat something came up. alright i have to go now, bye!" noah hangs up and looks at me.

"sorry about that, toby just wanted to know where i was. does wilbur know where you are?" he asks politely. "uh- no, i kinda yelled at him then left. that's also why i don't have my phone." i look at noah with glossy eyes. "i didn't mean to yell at him, he said that i was to dependent on others and i kind of snapped."

he puts his hand on mine. "do you wanna hang out at my place and play on our minecraft world?" noah asks. "i'd love to!" i say.
