"Allan Vallegas, Fred Angeles, Amanda
Smith, Philip Enriquez, Mark Peralta,
Camilla Perez, and Rica Alfuente. Tandaan niyo ang mga pangalan nila, they are the seven researchers who were able to enter Helios." The colonel in front said.

They're briefing us about Helios before we go there. It has been more than six months since the president started Operation: Helios.

Operation: Helios is a top secret mission of individuals who will find the answers about the tragedy from 30 years ago.

On the first two months of the operation, the president sent out helicopters to observe the island. In the journal of Ms. Rica Alfuente from 30 years ago, she said that the epidemic immediately killed the animals near her area which means the epidemic affect animals. Through the helicopters, it was reported that there were a lot of animals living in all the areas of the island, which was a good sign.

But of course it wasn't enough assurance. They needed a stronger evidence that it was safe to conduct an investigation to the place.

That's when he showed up, Gilbert Frost. He's a crazy old guy who's obsessed about everything that's related to Helios. The problem is his delusions. He views the Solis Tribe as some kind of cult that will save his soul, and for some reason, he's doing his best to stop the Helios operation.

He's a total nuts, but he did provide a very crucial information. His obsession caused him to break the law and enter the island 17 years ago.

"WHEN DARKNESS COMES, YOU'LL ALL DIE! THEY SHOULD NEVER MEET! WHEN THEY MEET THEY'LL DOOM ALL OF YOU!" Paulit-ulit nitong sinabi bago maipasok sa mental asylum.

The evidence of his visit to Helios proved that it is indeed safe.

This was the go signal to continue to the next step of the Operation: Helios. Six people were chosen to take a step on the island, and that's us, the people sitting around this round table, the next people who'll finally enter Helios.

Helios is a restricted island with a lot of secrets. Unang una, the sun never sets in that place. We figured it's because of the Earth's tilted rotation. Kakaunti lang din ang kaalaman namin dito dahil mahigpit ang mga taong nakatira rito noon, the Solis Tribe.

There was a time when we had absolutely no idea about that place and its people, until about 40 years ago, the tribe made a deal with the government that allowed one researcher to enter and live in the island for 21 days, but we could only send one researcher every 18 months.

However, it ended 30 years ago. When the epidemic wiped out the tribe including the researcher that was sent there, Ms. Rica Alfuente.

Ngayon, ipinapaliwanag na sa amin kung sinu-sino ang pitong researchers na pumasok sa Helios.

"Each researchers brought their journals to write their findings about Helios." They're talking about the seven journals on the table.

I'm trying so hard to stop myself from looking eager, I really want to read those right now.

"Those aren't the originals but copies, you'll bring them with you to Helios." Colonel Martinez said.

That's obvious, sinong matinong tao ang magpapadala ng original copies ng tanging kasulatan tungkol sa misteryong lugar na 'yon.

"Magdadala din kayo ng mga armas, it's one of the reason why we chose you, you're all skilled and capable of protecting yourselves. There's a lot of wild animals in Helios, use that to protect yourselves, again, Helios has been unvisited by outsiders for  30 years, it has a rich land so there's gonna be a lot of dangerous animals roaming there. But you shouldn't worry too much since we'll send two of our skilled agents with you."
