A wife, a good job, a pet and a nice house. This man sounds like the luckiest and happiest guy ever. How could he complain he has everything a person could ever dream of..or so that's what other people think, in his reality, his life is a wreck..

Our brains are the most powerful thing in our bodies, but some can be too powerful. Bodies that want to survive with minds that want to die, He would slowly be reaching his breaking point soon for he just gotten into another fight with his wife, things have been more of a struggle these days. He had even lost more connections with his friends. Feeling Stressed and trapped in his own flesh, wishing to find an exit...

However, each time he goes to the bathroom it stares at him, perched on a self, pills for his depression and anxiety. It stares directly into his eyes, almost seemly like it's trying to extend its impulsive talons into his brain. Is he going as crazy as almost hearing it talk?.. suddenly he pulled himself out of the thought. perplexed, he shook his head slowly..

He readied himself for the night, exhausted as a work horse, he fell into his bed ready for another same old day.. All of what could be heard was the faint buzzing of the refrigerator and the synchronized ticking of the Clock..

...

*tick*...

*tick*..

*Tick*

*TICK*

The sounds around him grow louder, his head became loud, filled with noise and pressure.. he wanted to make it stop.. voices of memories replaying over, and over, and over again. Repeating and getting louder with every second.

"STOP MAKE IT STOP"

The clock's ticks felt like they were ironed in his head, the faint noise of the refrigerator started to turn into a grinding and piercing vibration.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD"..

He felt lost in his mind, tangled in the vines of his fears, his guilts. Looking for a way out, where was his way out? Blinded by his mind..

He snapped..

Surrounded by what looked to be a jungle, his adrenaline rushed, his eyes dialed, his heart beating like drums. By his natural instincts he ran looking for a way out until he stumbled towards a jungle tree so beautiful, and so elegant looking. He lounged his arm towards a very bright fruit staring at it in hope and pain.

It whispered.. "Your lost, but I can help you find your way out"

"I see your fear, the sorrow and pain in your eyes, you don't think you matter to anyone, don't you?"

After a short pause It continued..."I didn't think so, so let me help you, I promise you if you eat me I will grant you happiness and peace" the fruit lingered.

Without a thought and a doubt, he swallowed every last bite of it.. He slid his back down the tree sitting on the floor, his mind became quiet... His body became relaxed. Staring at where used to be the fruit he ate, the image in his mind shifted, and suddenly he appeared in his bathroom. He shifted his eyes towards a bottle on the floor, it was the pill bottle, and it was empty.. before he realized what he done, he became frightened and closed his eyes hoping it was a dream. but instead..

He found his peace, in heaven.
