Fog clouded the cemetery, creeping around the different tombstones. Moonlight being the only light source falling on the different paths.
The sound of an owl broke the silence as if announcing the incoming person running onto the cemetery. Heavy breathing could be heard as a young woman stumbled against one of the tombstones leaving her blood on it.
Leaning heavily on it to support her weight she slowly stood up eyes looking everywhere around her. Closing her eyes to keep herself concentrated. Steadying herself she continued her path further into the rundown cemetery. Stumbling over the smallest rocks while guiding herself along the resting places of the dead.
Mouses squeaked at her stumbling steps speeding out of the womans path as soon as she came near them. Running her hand above the graves overgrown with moss and dirt she slowly became calmer.
Reaching the center of the cemetery the woman sat herself against the tomb of a long dead noble family resting her head against the cool wet stone she shortly closed her eyes.
Resting her hand on her stomach she winced, looking down at her hand she saw her blood soaking threw her white ripped t-shirt. Trying to get a better look at her wound she leans forward only to hiss and instantly lean back. Letting out a shaking breath she closed her eyes trying to calm and concentrate.
Moonlight illuminating her pale skin smudged with blood. Trying to wipe the upbuilding sweat from her forehead she smeared even more blood on her face. Taking a deep breath, she began trying to stand up holding onto the cold wall behind her.
Staggering towards the overgrown sacrificial altar she collapsed in front of it, her legs no longer able to carry her.
Reaching for the altar she managed to latch onto it she began to pull herself towards it. Rocks dug into her open wound as she cried out at the pein before slamming her mouth shut and forcing herself to stay quiet as a tear ran down her cheek staining its path black.
Leaning against the altar she breathed heavily trying to hold back another cry of pain.
Ignoring her protesting body she stood up leaning against the old stone that in its history was often stained with blood and death now also stained with hers as she placed her red hands onto the altar.
Taking a deep breath, she shut her eyes letting all the energy flow into her body strengthening it in a way only one thing could. Letting all deaths that were attached to this sacrificial stone enter her body and absorbing all their energy making.
Whispers surrounding her as she regained her power. All of them talking louder and louder as she became more and more aware of them all. The kids crying, the woman begging to be released, the men screaming, the old singing and the young wailing for their death.
The woman paid them all no mind continuing to absorb the energy of the dead.
The cemetery was deathly silent all living things having fled.
A laugh shattering the atmosphere.
The woman started hunching over tears running down her face tainting her flesh around her eyes black, laughing uncontrollably the woman began to cough up blood.
Never once did she stop absorbing energy of the dead, the cries of the dead howling loudly inside her head.
Forcing some of her energy towards her wound she forced it to stitch itself together, black vines coming out of her skin stitching the wound together before resting like a tattoo und the surface looking like a stich mark.
The wind started picking up forcing the fog to move around mor giving the cemetery an even more ghostly feeling.
A crow landing on one of the rusty lanterns cried out causing the woman to stop laughing.
Snapping open her eyes she straightened herself looking around.
Silver glowing eyes surrounded by darkness watched her surroundings as she continued to turn around herself. Latching onto the dark person standing in the fog flanked by tombstones on either side.
Moving closer the man entered the center calmly. Blazing red eyes surrounded by black stared right back into her silver ones as they held a staring match.
Chuckling she began coughing up blood again, wiping it from ger mouth she grinned at him.
Youre late, she was met by tense silence, nobody moved.
Her eyes surveyed her surrounding latching onto all things looking out of place. He took a step forward, smiling sweetly he opened his arms as if inviting her to a hug.
Now, now Dabria dont do this come on lets go home
She snorted shaking her head she turned to glare at him, Never, and I mean never will I ever come with you
His smile left his face leaving a carefully blank face as he brought his black tinted hands in front of him forming a staff out of darkness. Lifting an eyebrow, he nodded his head towards the spear in his hand.
Dabria stubbornly shook her head, continuing to glare at him with her black silvery eyes surrounded by her blood smeared face.
Stop this now Dabria!, He was losing his calm, something they did not do often, Come on, we both dont want this to end that way, now do we?. Taking another menacing step towards her, eyeing her predatory as she took one step back causing her to stumble into the altar behind her.
Regaining her footing she stood against him not saying a word as he slowly made his way towards her.
You dont want this, you know that Dabria, youre mine and you know that so now come back with me and I will grant you forgiveness for what you just did. All will be forgotten, just come with me now and stop this stupid little fight., The man was talking as if he were scolding a child, it infuriated Dabria.
A scowl on her face showed it all as she gritted out her answer: I am not yours! I belong to myself and only myself! Get that in your stupid skull! There should be enough place considering how small your brain must be!
She lifted her hands looking down at them before lifting her gaze again to meet his blazing red eyes and boy oh boy was he not happy.
And this is what? A stupid little fight for you? she scoffed, Ill show you how much damage this little fight can cause.
Taking a deep breath, she readied herself, before he could react after realizing what she was about to do.
She released a piercing scream as she directed all her anger to him. Power ran threw her veins into her scream into her very being.
He came crashing down to his knees holding his head as he rolled on the floor in the dirt. She took a step towards him continuing to scream, They were always the hardest to kill after all.
Black blood started spilling out his eyes and ears as he began to crumble under her attack his death nearing. Taking one deep breath she fully released everything, giving into her nature.
Power surged the ear at the even louder scream she released causing his body to contort and burst into flames of darkness eating him away only leaving ashes to remain, They always had a particular way to day, well when they do die.
She stopped screaming looking down at the pile of ash, turning away and leaving it behind surging in the energy of his death.
That little fight was the biggest, you ever had the honor of seeing, you shouldnt ever have challenged me. I am out of your league
