"I'm Breylan Pelt, standing in the Georgia State Bulldogs Player Lounge with freshman phenom Jayson Bryant, Jr. So tell me how does it feel to be nominated for every award possible for a Defensive player?"
"Actually kind of confusing, to be honest. If not for the entire defense I wouldn't be able to get a single stat."
"Come on brother. You nominated for the Heisman. Not only nominated but rumored to be the front runner. You gotta be excited."
"Well yeah I'm honored but if not for my Dawgz I wouldn't have the opportunity to make all those plays. Actually I'm more focused on today's game than anything else. Can't wait to see my boy Mouse break the sack record today on them mosquitoes. Can I get a Sic'em" The defense goes wild off camera barking and beating on tables.
"As you can see the Dawgz ready for their state rival Georgia Tech. I'm Breylan Pelt for ESPNU. Back to you in the studio."
After the cameras and microphones were cut off Jayson turned to Mouse, "Dude I can't wait. They have no answer for you, the line or me. I wanna see a Madden Skunk first quarter. Offense I'm saying hope you got enough rest last night they will be 4 and out all day. Yo. Travis can I get a stretch? Breylan seriously I think him and Nikanik over there the reason we winning."
"I got you today. Mouse Travis got you."
Mouse smiled thinking about their date last night. They had been secretly dating for the last six months but last night she actually said she loved him. Cloud 9 and counting was where he was.
"Nik Travis mean though. I'm a big dude no damn reason for me to be screaming like that."
"Tia table open." With those 3 simple words fear spread through the entire locker room hoping they weren't next. Tia was barely 5 feet flat but had hands of steel. Wouldn't hurt a fly but killed you on the table. You was loose and could get hit all day. But the next day have mercy on your soul.
"You not telling me all of you scared of that little bit of girl," Breylan asked. The entire team stared at him.
"How about this Breylan. I'll give you that exclusive interview about my folks if you can handle a DT/NMT massage for an hour from her without making a sound or shedding a tear," Jayson smirked. Knowing that just the other week she had Floyd Mayweather in and he cried.
"Deal somebody get him the Kleenex. I'm going to be nice and do the interview in your dorm tomorrow," Breylan laughed, "I'm not soft balling it either."
" Tia can you do him. I'm sure Troy will give up his spot." Throwing on his full panty dropping smile with both dimples showing.
"Jayboo you don't have to smile at me like that. Come on Mr. Man I think you need a Psoas release. "
As they walked into the back, the entire team snickered trying to hold back a laugh cause they knew that in about ten minutes they were going to hear screams.

"Traumatic Events and the Drive for Success. Excellent topic Ms. Davis. When you said it I thought your father would be your topic not your brother," Professor Watkins guessed incorrectly, "I called you in to let you know I submitted it to be published. Innocence smiled, she knew that the football angle would have her professor looking at her brother and not her true client.
"Professor Stinson my brother is not the person who I studied but I promised them I would never reveal their names. I actually spoke to 4 athletes that all suffered a traumatic event in their life. 3 professionals and a student athlete. Thank you for submitting my study."
"The footballer isn't your brother?"
"No, he never witnessed anything traumatic", she lied, "well maybe me leaving for here. Speaking of which I have to meet him at the airport he is visiting the campus as a new recruit for the football team. Nice seeing you professor."
Innocence walked out towards her car and smiled at the familiar face leaning against it.
"Hey Doc. I think I have a giant bunny following me around calling me stupid." Jay grinned. He hadn't seen her much since the season started and after the win at Georgia Tech that made them the only undefeated team in the SEC coach gave them today off since they had a bye week.
"You want me to tell Dee to play nice?"
Jay laughed and walked over to her for a hug. "Cruel Doc, funny, but cruel. Heard your brother was coming up for the week. Guess who dorm he assigned to? Also heard that you are the only person with an A in the entire Psych department."
"Do not corrupt my brother. I am going to get him now. Why aren't you at practice?"
"Win plus bye means 2 days off."
"Wanna ride? And speaking of As heard you got the PoliSci highest average and if I heard right front runner on the Heisman and 5 other awards." She rolled her eyes. "You know everything you tell me confidential right? We haven't had a session since the season started how are things going? You handling the stress of being a star well?"
"How you always know when I need to talk Doc?"
"Good at what I do. Plus you called me Doc. Only do that when we are in session. So since I'm driving down to get the giant wanna ride?" She asked again since he didn't answer.
"Unlock the car. I haven't been able to sleep more than 3 hours a night. I have the dream but thing is I keep seeing another person but not clearly."
Innocence dropped the keys to her Dodge Magnum. Could he be remembering? "What? Are you speaking of the girl that no matter how much you do you can't reach her? Tell me more."
"Nope it's that day. It feels so real. Like there is a shadowy guy that shoots Keionna mother and Ma after Ma shoots Pop. What if I saw something more could I have blocked it? Like you know I hate those interviews but Breylan Pelt interviewed me last Saturday and right after the cameras shut off I challenged him for an interview but I think I really just want someone to know."
"Know what?"
"I don't think my Momma killed herself."
"Why?"
"I blocked a lot of that day, Doc. I think I want to try something when the season over....."
Jayson paused and she sat there thinking.
"What would you like to try Jayson? You know that I will help you with it."
"Hypnosis or something."
"Why hypnosis?"
"Seems easier to remember things."
"Would you try something different?"
"Like what?"
"Let me do some research and get back to you because I think I have a different way to get you through this."
"One last thing and session over Doc. I think there was another witness."
"What you mean?"
"Session over Sense." Jay laughed and Innocence thought hard. The rest of the trip continued with them laughing and joking about campus life and Dee different crazy hook ups.
