Just finished season 2 and my final rating for this season is a....
8/10
For a comparison I rated the first season a 9/10(1 number off).
Like in the first season Kiyo was totally different from vol 1-3 kiyo, and that difference is why I prefer the anime over the vol 1-3.
And with the 2nd season, they just made him crueler and apathetic, the fight just proves it and it might be just because my memory is a bit hazy but his thoughts in the anime aren't sugar coding at all, I mean it is super blunt like "I still might have use for you.".
And I'm all in for that.
The animation, A huge reason why this season felt off to me but they did turn it around on the latest ones, but compared to the first season it was a total downgrade but I hope in season 3 they'll fix that.
Things they cut off, I get why they had to cut alot of things but it still hurts not getting a scene you want, like the snow on his head, I was looking forward to that part than the rooftop.
I atleast hope for at least funny kiyopon moments for the next season, I mean I like a cold kiyo as much as the next person but I am a person who prefers comedy than anything.
But hey at least we got a 2nd season, even though I was sure we would never get one, solely from how season 1 was made, I mean can you blame they changed a semi important part of the LN and it felt like a 1 season kind of anime.
I'm still upset we did not get enough Hiyori scences!!!
Anyways that's it.
