"Hey... umm, I made lunch for you... again." Rose started packing her boyfriend's lunchbox as he was about to leave his house. Jace stopped in his tracks and looked back with an unreadable expression on his face.
"Look, this is gonna be the last time you're making me lunch, understood?"
Rose was taken aback by his words. She stood there frozen, her hands shaking. It was something she did not expect.
"Why?"
"I don't want anyone to ask about you," Jace sighed loudly and massaged his temples. "They would always ask me about the girl who makes lunch for me and visit my studio. So I told them that you're my maid- and they actually believed it."
A maid?...
"Then... can I help you with something else instead? I don't wanna do nothing here..."
"It's fine. I don't need your help. Besides," the blonde man turned towards the door and opened it, "You can't help me with anything. You don't know anything about music. You don't understand how it works."
"But still-"
"Remember.. you have to keep a low profile, or else everyone will find out about your past... I don't want that to ruin our band."
Jace put a cap on his head and faced Rose for the last time, "Bye. See you later."
"Wait, can I hug-"
The door was shut close as Rose was about to approach him.
