Wearing an oversized black hoodie, denim pants, and white rubber shoes, Rose hurriedly jogged toward the elevator carrying a lunchbox. She couldn't stop smiling since she was planning to surprise her boyfriend at work. As she stepped out of the elevator, loud music welcomed her, making her freeze on her spot.
Ugh... I hate loud noises... it hurts...
She placed one hand over her right ear as she carefully walked towards the music studio. On her left side, the loud music suddenly stopped, and it changed into soft pop music. She dropped her hand that was covering her right ear, and as she did that, she heard a familiar laugh echoing throughout the hallway. She walked fast towards her boyfriend's studio and softly knocked. What she was expecting was a surprised but happy expression on his lover, but she was greeted with a disappointed look from him.
"What are you doing here?!"
I can't believe that's the first thing he'll say to me.
"I just wanted to surprise you..."
"And what's that?" her boyfriend pointed at the lunchbox that she was holding.
"I made lunch for you-"
She wasn't even finished talking when his boyfriend took the lunchbox and turned his back on her. "Don't you ever come to this place again, you hear me?"
"But why-"
With a cold and sharp tone, Theo sighed loudly, "It'll be embarrassing if people find out I'm dating someone like you," he said, with no hint of hesitancy in his voice.
