Well tonight is it.  The night where hopefully everything will return to normal and I can stop living out of Laura and Tim's guest room.

I really wish the FBI didn't have to take down that pyscho at the charity event for the hospital, but Agent Lockland said it would be for the best.  The more public it was, the less likley Erica was going to do something stupid.  I wasn't too sold on that theory, but here we are.

Agent Lockland assured me that the arrest would be done in the most discreate way possible and it wouldn't ruin the night.

Ever since that night when I told Briggs I was pregnant he has been a little over protective of me, but I think it is cute.  Well maybe some times I think it is cute.  Other times I find it a little annoying, but he is just worried about the stress of this whole situation.

Back to the charity event though.  I worked with a great event planner and even managed to get some of my past and present clients to attend and open their wallets for an amazing cause.  Between the donations and what Briggs has put into the hospital, we have enough money to build an addition to the Tara Maddison Wing and pay for the majority of the patients stay.

We haven't told the families the good news yet.  I am leaving that up to Briggs to do at the event tonight.  Of course though Briggs would be coming with Erica, as his date and me, well I couldn't ask for a better date to this event.  Ethan would be escorting me and he was so excited.

Apparently it was all he could talk about at school.  His teacher was a little concerned that he would be the date of an older woman, but his parents explained what was going on and his teacher seemed statisfied.

"Am, you better hurry up in there or we will be late," I hear Laura say through the bedroom door.

"Almost done.  Just finishing up my make up, " I answer.

I put the finishing touches on my make up and look at myself in the mirror.  I smile at what I see.  This beautiful woman with so much to look forward too.  I have a great career, wonderul friends and family, a great man who loves me and now a little life growning inside me.

I look at my dress as I turn to the side.  It is a deep shade of red with a high slit in the side. It shows off just the right about of leg, without being too scandolus.  The front goes down into a deep V and shows off the right amount of clevage.  My hair is in an up do and makes my neck look great.

My hand smooths down the front of the dress and lands on my stomach.  "You ready to go and get Daddy back?" I ask my little peanut.

I open up the door and head down to the living room where everyone is waiting.  I get there and see Tim in his suit and he looks so handsome.  I look over at Laura and she is a vision in the light blue Vera Wang dress I bought for her.

"Oh Laura you look amazing.  I knew that dress was all you when I saw it." Giving her a soft smile.

"Thank you, but you Am look stunning.  Briggs is going to have a hard time keeping his eyes off you tonight," she says smiling.

"Thank you, but where is my date?" I ask.

"Right here," I hear Ethan say.

I turn around and see him in his suit looking so grown up.  His tie matching with my dress.

I give him a big smile.  "Well don't you look handsome.  I am going to have to fight all the ladies for you attention tonight."

"Eww gross," Ethan says.

"Alright everyone into the car unless we want to be very late," Tim says and ushers us out.

We get to the hall right on time and I see all the press out front taking pictures of everyone heading inside.  I get out when the vallet opens my door and I help Ethan out as well.
