Prologue: Story Begins of a Thunder Wolf

(A/N: Well, hello my fellow readers and followers. Here is the Prologue to this story and this story was requested by JordanHannaEvans and shout outs go to him. Now with that said let the reading begin.)

"Through out Remnant there has been legends that has always been known, but none have been mostly known with one creature. That creature is known as Zinogre, a magnificent creature with extraordinary power that people feared at first thinking he'd be a destroyer only to reveal it to be a protector of the world and it's people.

It fought Grimm for years all over the world no matter how dangerous the threat and Grimm is, everyone worshipped Zinogre like a god and a hero, some fought beside him to protect the world. But, during a battle Zinogre disappeared during a battle which everyone has decided to accept him dead. That kept going for years with the Grimm rising again with people deciding to defend themselves wanting Zinogre to be alive.

Ruby P.O.V
Location: Beacon Academy

"In Remnant where at of the four academies in the world to train future Huntsmen and Huntresses, one of those schools known as Beacon Academy. Among the students is Ruby Rose, leader of Team RWBY alongside her sister Yang Xiao Long and her teammates Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna. Right now Ruby is resting in her dorm until she gets a text from Weiss saying she's being called to Ozpin's office. She gets off her bed to walk to the elevator pushing the button to his office, she waited until the elevator arrives to see her teammates there already.....................
Ruby: " Hey!"
Yang: "About time sis."
Ruby: *walks towards them* "Sorry it took so long. *stops in front of Ozpin's desk* So, what is it you need Ozpin?"
Ozpin: "I need you four to head to a location and find someone."
Weiss: "Someone?"
Blake: "Any particular reason Professor?"
Ozpin: "This person is an importance that makes him a recommendation to join this academy, no time must be wasted. Find him and bring him to this academy, but I just warn you of Grimm activity in the area, so watch yourselves."
Yang: "Don't worry Ozpin, we won't let you down."

Ozpin P.O.V

.....................Team RWBY takes the elevator down with Ozpin turning around looking out a window smiling while drinking from his mug.....................
Ozpin: (It's him. I know it is.)

Team RWBY P.O.V

.....................after arriving at the location where the mission is located, they traveled through the forest and through the walk they see some kind of destruction with trees cut down with burn marks on some and the ground. Slash marks are seen, but not claw marks showing it's from a bladed weapon.....................
Weiss: "What in the world happened here?"
Yang: "Either Grimm went crazy and destroyed this part of the forest or there was a battle here."
Blake: "This isn't Grimm, the don't do this kind if thing with burn marks everywhere."
Ruby: "Yeah."
Blake: "You three know where we are right? *they look at her* We're at one of the locations Zinogre fought Grimm."
Weiss: "Oh yeah."
Ruby: "Zinogre? The thunder wolf?"
Weiss: "Yeah. Apparently it was feared by everyone at first, but when he protected everyone with everyone worshipping it. Until he disappeared."
Yang: "Didn't they say he died?"
Weiss: "Yeah. But, there was no proof of him dead."
.....................they continued walking through the forest with nothing happening for hours, that kept going until a roar is heard causing them to get their weapons out only for a boom like sound is heard seeing a blue color in the distance to see it's thunder. They ran to the location to stop seeing dead Grimm everywhere with thunder everywhere.....................
Yang: "Woah!"
Weiss: "What happened here?"
.....................a thud is heard seeing a Goliath run at them as they get in a fighting stance, but it gets sruck by tunder and it falls on the ground slowly turning to ash showing it's dead. They approach it until someone jumps off it's body with a spear in the hand while it rests on his shoulder with thunder coming off his body.....................
Blake: "I believe that's him."
Yang: "Ozpin said who, so it must be him."
.....................he turns his head quickly looking at them causing Ruby to scream until he appears in front of them looking at them in a scanning type look. They looked on his head seeing wolf ears, but to also their surprise is horns at the same time.....................
????: "Can I help you four?"
Weiss: "Oh yes, we're a team from Beacon sent here looking for someone and that's obviously you since you are the only one here."
????: "Beacon Academy? So, Ozpin sent you?"
Yang: "How do you know that? I wouldn't think you'd know anything."
Blake: "I want to ask. I know you're a Faunus, but why have both ears and horns?"
Weiss: "Come to think of it, those features remind me of-"
????: "Zinogre? *they look at him shocked* Well, here's more of a shock that will be unbelievable. I am a Faunus Variant of Zinogre."
RWBY: *eye widen* "What?!"
.....................they looked at him in a scanning like way to see he is right, the wolf ears and horns along with the color of his hair along with the thunder attack showing he is telling the truth. They realize they're looking at a Faunus of the Zinogre in front of them.....................
????: "So, what does Ozpin want with me?"
Ruby: "He's inviting you to join Beacon and sent us to find you."
????: "Hm, so he sent you four instead of a Huntsman or a Huntress? *sighs* Okay."
Weiss: "That's it? No like, requests or anything?"
????: "Nope, nothing. I'll see you four at the Bullhead, I just have to pack some things."
Ruby: "Okay."
.....................they return to the Bullhead waiting on the guy until he appears throwing his bag in the Bullhead while jumping in it with Team RWBY until it takes off.....................
Yang: "So handsome. *he looks at her* You got a name?"
(Y/N): "It's (Y/N)."
Blake: "(Y/N)? Okay."
Weiss: "How did you survive all the way out here?"
(Y/N): "You remember that village years ago where Zinogre first stayed? *they nodded* Well, that village is still up and running, it's just hidden well and it got bigger."
Ruby: "Wow. That's cool."
Weiss: "And to think they said it was abandoned."
.....................after some time the Bullhead arrives in Vale until it reaches Beacon Academy landing on the landing pad. They walk off while (Y/N) walks ahead of them towards Ozpin's office leaving the four girls looking at him.....................
Pyrrha: "Hello. I see you four are back."
Jaune: "So, how was the mission and who is that guy that walked off the Bullhead with you?"
Yang: "That is (Y/N), the guy Ozpin told us to find and bring him here. And let me say he is one tough man."
Nora: "What do you mean?"
Weiss: "On the way we encountered a Goliath thinking it was going to attack us, but it died before it could do anything and he jumped off it's body."
Ren: "He killed a Goliath by himself?"
Blake: "Yeah. And the features on him, the wolf ears and the horns. If they look familiar it's because he is a Faunus variant of Zinogre."
Pyrrha: *eyes widen in complete shock* "What?! So, those are real?"
Ruby: "Yep."
Ren: "How? How is he a Faunus variant? Nothing was left of Zinogre the day he disappeared, but him showing up. Incredible."
Male Student 1: "A Zinogre Faunus?"
Male Student 2: "That's awesome."
Female Student 1: "This year at Beacon just got better."

(Y/N) P.O.V

.....................(Y/N) arrives at the elevator to push the button heading up towards Ozpin's office, the elevator arrives to walk in standing in front of a desk seeing a man there who is confirmed to be Ozpin.....................
Ozpin: "Ah, I see you made it (Y/N)."
(Y/N): "Hello Ozpin. About time I finally got here, huh?"
Ozpin: "I apologize for the long wait, I didn't have other Huntsmen and Huntresses ready to get you so I sent Team RWBY to get you."
(Y/N): "I understand. I was hoping I didn't scare them after killing a Goliath all by myself."
Ozpin: "You killed a Goliath? Outstanding. Well, I welcome you to Beacon Academy. But, sadly there isn't enough dorms for you to live in so I decided you will stay with Team RWBY."
(Y/N): "Okay."
.....................he walks down the hallway looking for the room where Team RWBY is living and he arrives to knock on the door.....................
Yang: "Who is it?"
(Y/N): "It's (Y/N)."
Weiss: *stamers* "Hang on a second!"
.....................crashing and running around is heard with something being put up with (Y/N) raising his eyebrow in confusion on what's happening. The noises stop with the door opening revealing Ruby....................
Ruby: "Yes (Y/N)? You need something?""
(Y/N): "Apparently Ozpin told me there aren't much dorms to live in, so I am now assigned to stay with you and your team. Is that a problem?"
Ruby: "No, of course not. Come on in."
.....................she invites him in and the moment he walked in his eyes widen in shock seeing how the room looks.....................
(Y/N): "Home made bunk beds?"
Ruby: "There was no room and this was the only idea we can think of."
(Y/N): "Hm, okay."
Yang: "So, what brings you here (Y/N)?"
Ruby: "Ozpin assigned him as our roommate since there's no dorms he can stay in. So, here he is!"
Weiss: "Really? I don't see a problem with it, it's just where is he going to sleep."
(Y/N): "I'll figure it out."
.....................he unpacks his stuff and brings out something and rolls it out revealing to be a funton which made Team RWBY curious.....................
Ruby: "What's that?"
Blake: "It's a futon."
Yang: "Never seen one like that."
Blake: "It's one of those futons that rolls on the ground, it doesn't need a frame to sleep on it."
Weiss: "This futon is different though."
(Y/N): "It is. It's made of a material so soft you can't tell that you're sleeping on the floor, I've had this with me all the time and I washed it no need to worry."
.....................Ruby was the first to jump on it and she smiles.....................
Ruby: "Wow, it's so soft I didn't feel the floor when I jumped on it."
Yang: *lays on it* "Ruby's right, I can't feel the floor."
Weiss: *sits on it* "So soft."
Blake: "Hm. *lays on it* Wow, this is soft."
(Y/N) "A guy at my home worked on it cause every time he traveled the mattresses he laid on weren't all that comfortable, so he got some materials and decided to make a business to making the softest mattresses that won't get old or too hard. He recently stated doing futons too and he gave this one time for free."
Ruby: "We can use these types of mattresses for our beds."
Yang: "I agree."
.....................it's night time with everyone going to sleep with (Y/N) laying in his futon slowly drifting to sleep to start his first day at Beacon Academy. "
