You wake up to the loud sound of honking, you
look out and see a van."What time is it?.." you say
in a groggy tone, as you look at your alarm clock
you notice it was 8:58 and you need to be up at
8:00. "crap!" You rushed and got dressed in the
quickest outfit you could do something cute but
quick.
As you run down you quickly grab a apple and
your bag and sprint out and run up to the
van. "Your late sweetheart" the long haired man
said, you couldn't help but get flustered again at
the nickname."Sorry I forgot to set my alarm and
then," you go into a rant which makes him smile,
"Ok ok calm down I get it I was just kidding hop
in"he stopped you after listening to you stumble
and mess up your words, "right sorry" you reply
and get in. You look around and you smell weed
and his cologne you didn't mind it though it was
actually quite nice.
The two of you sit in silence for a little, it's kind
of awkward.. "I'm y/n by the way" you say while
looking up at him, he glances at you and smiles
nodding "I know sweetheart" he said back "I'm
Eddie, Eddie Munson" he holds a hand out for you
to shake and you do, his hands are big and
surprisingly soft but his fingertips are rough. You
sit there and are spaced out still holding his hand,
your staring at it admiring his hand structure and
choice of jewelry, "can I have my hand back
sweetheart or are you going to hold it all
day.hm?" He grins teasingly, you snap out of it and let go"
right sorry.."
"you blushed and looked out
the window.
He smiled because he had seen your blush
meaning his teasing worked. Eddie realized you
two were in a time crunch and started driving
"mind if I play some music?" He said, you nodded
and he let you pick. as you look through his music
tapes one catches your eye"No way you listen to
Metallica?" You looked up at him with an excited
expression, he glanced over at you "hell ya! I love
'em! I cover their songs in my band sometimes !"
You started to get a little more excited and it
showed. "Dude, that's awesome! What's your role
?"You looked at him intrigued."I'm actually a
guitarist, you should come see us at our next gig"
he said happily, "I'd like that" you say back with a
smile. You were happy that you had met someone
with the same interests.
As you two arrive at school he turns to you and
says
"why don't you sit with me and my friends at
lunch, newbie?"he smiles invitingly." Oh so it went
from sweetheart to newbie huh? But Sure why
not" you nod to him and you both smile and then
get out." You have your schedule right?" He looks
over at you,"yes 'mom' you say sarcastically with
a small giggle and he rolls his eyes and smiles
checking your schedule."uhh we have third and
seventh together!" He says with slight excitement,
you nod with the same excitement that you
won't be alone." Thank you for taking me Eddie,
I'll see you later" you smile at him and wave to
find your classes.He stands there with a slight blush from when you called his name" screw it"
he mumbles to himself and runs after you" hey
yIn! I'll take you to your first class. I don't want
my 'child' getting lost now, do I?" He says
sarcastically. You laugh a bit and nod"Actually I'd
appreciate that thanks" you smile and he takes
you to your first period.
*in class *
"Hello everyone, we have a new student to
welcome today. This is y/n I/n. Please introduce
yourself and tell us something about yourself."
Your teacher had said, making you embarrassed
for being the center of attention,"I'm uh.y/n, l'm
18,1 used to live here till I was 13. Uh.ya I moved
back here from california to stay with my uncle."
You say shyly and stutter over some words which
some of the more 'popular' kids laugh to each
other over. Again you're even more embarrassed
and you take the empty seat next to a short hair
girl. She looks over at you then holds her hand
out "I'm Robin, I think it's cool you used to live in
California some of my friends live there."
YOu
look over and shake her hand relieved that you
had met another nice person. "Thanks uh I'm y/n
as you must've heard" you chuckle awkwardly and
she nods with a smile.
With Robins help you be able to make it to your
next class and eventually you find the third with
Eddie. You two chat in the back of the class as if
you completely forgot where you were.
"I don't know what it is about him but he is so easy to talk to, he feels safe." You think to
yourself while listening to him ramble on about
his hobby. It's cute to see him excited about
things."cute??" You think "I really just said he was
cute jeez we just met get it together y/n" you
snap out of your thoughts and continue to listen
to him with a soft smile on your face. You
continue to listen to talk with him till the end of
class, he then walks you to the next.
*lunch time*
You're following a crowd of random students to
what you hope is the way to the cafeteria, luckily
for you it was and it was big and crowded, which
was overwhelming. You aren't very tall, you have
to get on your tiptoes to look around for Eddie.
It isn't hard to find him because you can hear him
randomly yelling about something so you follow
his voice, you find the table and go up"uh hey
you said nervously."Y/n! Look I told you She was
real!" He says while looking at a table full of guys,
you wave shyly ."make room for the lady
gentlemen!" He shoves them out of the way,
making a spot for you next to him. "thanks you
smile and sit by him," welcome to hellfire~'

whispers to you making you blush.
The boys greet you one by one and you ease
while knowing they aren't so bad, Eddie watches
them carefully when they talk to you. What's the
shirt you guys are wearing? Hellfire?" You ask
curiously." why that sweetheart is the hellfire club the best d&d club in Hawkins!"Eddie replies, "my
sweetheart?" Dustin whispers to Mike
confused,Mike just shrugs knowing Eddie is a
tease and he is also 'crazy'. "D&d? That sounds
familiar.is it a game?" You look at them,
" your
correct! Have you ever played?" Eddie says to you,
you just shake your head no. "Bummer I'll have to
teach you sometime" he says then winks and you
smile and blush slightly with a nod and eat your
lunch, the boys look at each other confused and
somewhat shocked that he was invited to teach
you. Eddie wasn't the type to teach outsiders, but
you were an acceptation.
*end of the day*
You had gotten through your classes,your favorite
where the two you had with Eddie and the one
with Robin. You headed to find Eddie's van then
you feel soft hands with rough fingertips cover
your eyes" guess who sweetheart?" A voice says
"hmm I dunno let me guess .Madonna? " you say
sarcastically causing him to have a dramatic gasp
then laugh, you giggle and turn to him."I'm
offended" he says and fake pouts at you but then
can't help but smile."ready to go ?" He says after
you nod and he walks you to his van and he takes
you home.
The two of you arrive at your place and he looks
at you "see you tomorrow sweetheart ". You nod, getting out "bye Eddie" you wave and go inside so
happy at how your day went. As you go inside
your uncle sees the huge smile plastered on your
face. "Good day?" he asks, you simply nod and go
upstairs doing homework and writing and
doodling in your diary about your day. You go
through the rest of your day in the best mood
you've been in for awhile. You go to sleep and
actually remember to set your alarm this time,
eventually falling asleep while thinking about him.
