Ah yes. Drew is one of the most debated and well known characters included in TMF.
There seems to be no end to the drama surrounding Drew especially after episode 9, and I thought I'd just share my opinions.
So, I'll just start by stating the obvious. Drew is a bad person. People love to defend him because he's "hot" or "misunderstood", and some people are even going as far as to say that Drew has a bad home life.
Firstly, we have no proof that Drew has a dysfunctional household. It is a largely popular theory, but there is zero proof. Even if Drew did have a messed up home life, that is still no excuse for manipulating and hurting his friend.
People like to cut Drew some slack because he's hot, and a male. I would love to see what would have happened if Drew had been a girl, or if the whole cast would have been different genders. I could almost garentee that people would treat him like Zoe if he had been female.
Another common theme among Drew stans is to defend Drew's actions by saying "He just wanted his friend back."
Well guess what! Friends are supposed to support eachother, and at least be civil with their other friends. He can of course have a bit of jealously, who wouldn't, but when he purposely manipulates his friend for his advantage, well that's messed up.
Drew is allowed to be upset that Jake is friends with the music club, but he has no right to manipulate Jake into submission. Drew stans forget that Drew is litterly the main antagonist of the series. His whole purpose is to literally be a bad person.
I really hope Jake beats the crap out of him in episode 10✨️
The point is, Drew is a bad person, and people need to stop defending him for his bad actions.
