Signora already mentally counted to the time she has left to spend in this room with the brat. She rolled her eyes as the final answer.
"Well, ain't you curious?" He isn't the one who back away easily, however, and she knew too damn well.
She scowled. "Stop the nonsense. You're just bored."
..yeah, maybe," He sighed. Laid back and sinked into the soft swell of the cushion. Looking a bit beaten. Five seconds just passed when Signora went for her next page before Childe murmured as if he were hypnotized. "She's a pretty girl though. Have never seen that hair color from around here before. And her eyes, too."
Signora perked her eyes up from the magazine. "Huh? What on earth are you babbling on--"
"I'm talking about Balladeer, of course. You've never seen her yet?" Childe quirked an eyebrow. Snapped out from his daydream reverie for a moment. It was rare to see Signora being less observant than usual. She's not one to be slow at taking pieces of information that might become useful in the future, especially ones that are within her surroundings.
"I've never fought her before, bet you haven't either. But since she looks pretty young and her majesty seems to take a liking to her. I wonder what it would like for that fragile body to move and slaughter people around."It happens in a light-flash level of speed. He heard a cracked opening sound of the main door to the private library they were resting in and the next moment he was yanked over by the collar. A white slender arm wearing the familiar fabric of a dark uniform was holding him hostage causing him to fall off his chair and kneeling on the ground.
"Wanna be the first one to try out up close? Tartarglia--That either this fragile body you mentioned about could break your spine in half?" Saying through her gritted teeth, the Balladeer gave him a deadly glare Childe could swear if only staring can kill, his head probably has a hole on it right now.
