Mika's POV

"No! Stay away," I screamed in a silent voice as I tried to push them away. My throat screamed at me to stop trying to make noise, it will never make noise. I curled up under my bed and tried to make myself as small as I could as to not be touched by their hands.

"Mi..a....Mika....MIKA," I heard slightly then it got louder. I opened my eyes and saw a head of messy brown hair.

'Masa-nii,' I mouthed through my blurry vision and killer headache. He seemed to understand what I meant to say because he quickly pulled me into a warm, embracing hug.

It was then that I realized that my body was covered in a layer of sweat and my temperature felt quite high.

He must have also felt it cause he immediately put his hand to my forehead and got a worried face.

"Stay here, Mika. I will be right back," he said and quickly left the room.

Masaomi's POV

I rushed to the dining room where all my brothers sat.

"You can start dinner without me, Mika has a high fever. I'm going to try and get it down. Ukyo, later can you make something for her to eat and bring it up," I asked and he quietly nodded, probably already thinking of what to make her.

I then ran to the new addition to the house, the infirmary, and grabbed some cold medicine, a thermometer, and filled a bowl with cool water along with a rag. Then I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of warm tea and hurried up the stairs. Toggling everything in my arms as not to drop them.
(A/N Masaomi has super arms!)

As soon as I got to the room, I walked in and could see how much she was sweating. It was quite literally soaking her clothes so I put the cool water-covered rag on her forehead and thought about what the night would bring.

I stayed there for a while, replacing the rag every few minutes when the cold went away. Eventually, her temp started to decrease and she was sleeping so I left the room.

By the time I got there, dinner was over and almost everyone had went to their own places. Ukyo and Ema were in the kitchen. Ema was putting away food and cleaning the dishes while it looks like Ukyo was making food for Mika.

"Ema, can you come assist me," I asked her.

"What do you need help with," she asked as she finished up and walked towards me.

"Can you perhaps clean off Mika? She is starting to sweat right through her clothes. She just needs to be cleaned off and clothes changed," I explained to her.

"You are also the only girl in the house right now," I added in. She immediately understood and nodded a yes.

She walked up the stairs while I sat down at the table and gave a tired sigh.  In the kitchen I heard some shuffling and within a moment, Ukyo came into the dining room with a plate of food and set it in front of me.

"You need to eat in order to take care of Mika. Don't come up until you have eaten everything," Ukyo said as he grabbed a tray with a bowl of rice porridge and walked to the elevator.

I slowly started to eat the sandwich's that were set in front of me.

Ema's POV

After I finished with the dishes quickly, I went straight to the elevator. I went up to Mika's floor and went right to her room and knocked before I entered the room.

I walked in to find her lying on her bed breathing heavily and gleaming with sweat. When I walked over to her to help her up, she was so weak and very light so I mainly carried her.

We stumbled out the hall to the bathroom at the end and went in. I set her down on the toilet while I started the bath water and grabbed a towel for after.

I noticed I had forgotten a change of clothes for Mika and left after making sure she was okay to stay there alone for a bit.

I walked quickly to her room and grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top with some other things and right as I walked out the door, I thought I should take a shower too.

I walked to my room and grabbed some pajamas then went quickly back to the bathroom to find Mika by the tub turning the water off.

She turned to me and smiled as I walked in and went to her. I carefully took her clothes off and helped her into the tub. She seemed to be used to it, I would guess so from all her years of being sick.

I helped wash her hair and scrub her back and we quickly got finished. I helped her into the tank top and shorts I grabbed before I helped her back to her room. When we got back, she sat on the floor in front of me while I used a towel to dry her hair.

The silence was comfortable, even with it being silent and all with no movement to talk or do anything. It made me happy as it seemed to be the thing that was gradually growing our bond together.

Before we knew it, her hair was dry and she was feeling better already as her temp seemed to have gone down a lot. I helped her into bed and stayed till she went to sleep, her face becoming so peaceful with her steady breathing.

I left the room whispering a quiet 'goodnight' and turned off the lights behind me.

On my way to take my shower, I could only think of how Mika and I would make great friends, and sisters, in the future.
