Christmas part 2

I was woken up by Emma yelling her head off. "Merry Christmas everyone!" She said cheerfully. "Mom it's Christmas!" Phil said as he ran to give mom a hug. "Yes it is Phil,now let's eat breakfast first. Can't do anything on a empty stomach." Phil smiled and joined the rest of the children at the tabled. I sat in between Emma and Norman. Emma squealed happily at the stack of pancakes in front of her. Me and Norman laughed at her childish behavior but we were both secretly just as happy.

Time skip to a few hours

"Gather around the tree children,it's time to open presents." We all sat around the tree while mom passed out presents. "Yay! A train set! Thank you mom." Phil said running around the room to show off his train set. "Of course dear." Mom said as she passed Gilda her gift. Gilda opened it to reveal pearl hair clips. "These are beautiful mom! Thank you!" Emna helped Gilda put the hair clips on. Emma was delighted to see a family of seramic giraffes. And Norman got a chess board. Mom handed me my gift and I was surprised to see a camra. (Pretend he doesn't already have one.) I did mention wanting a camra, but that was a long while ago. So I thought mom would of forgotten about it. "Ray, how would you like to take our Christmas pictures this year?" I smiled,"of course I will." I said putting the film in sied.

"Thank you mom!" The children said happily with faces full of smiles. "Your welcome my children,I'm glad your all happy." Mom said huging some of the other children. "We have gifts for you to mom." Don said as he handed mom something rapped in shine red paper. Mom opened it to revile pictures that we drew for her. "Thank you children! I shall hang these in the dining room."

"Merry Christmas mom!" Emna said as she gave mom a bnuch of purple and blue flowers. "Aww thanks you Emma! I'm going to put these I'm my office." Emma smiled and ran off to find Don and Gilda. "

"Gather around children! Ray's going to take are picture!" The children formed in a group,with tallest in the back and shortest up front. I positioned the camra,"Smile!" The children smiled brightly as I pressed the button. Click* the picture came out the bottom and the kids huddled around me to see the picture. The picture slowly came into view. "Wow!" Emna said smiling.

"Hey guys look!" Phil said pointing to the window. "It's snowing!" Anna said. The children ran to the window to the snow falling gracefully. "Yay snow!" Don yelled running out the door. "Children! You need your hats and mittens!" Mom said runing after Don. "Norman can you help us build a snowman?" Emma asked. Norman smiled and I felt a bit funny. "Sure Emna, let me get my coat." Norman ran up the stairs to find his coat while I put my hat on.

I followed Emma outside the cold snow fell on my face. Anna was makeing snow angles in the snow and nat was trying to catch snowflakes with the younger kids. Norman came outside and started to help Emma build the snowman. Suddenly I felt cold snow on my back and when I turned around I saw Don throwing snowballs at me and Gilda. "Don! Cut it out!" Don laughed playfully,"Phil finds it funny!" Don protest as Phil was laughing. Phil snuck up behind Emna and before she could notice he threw a small snowball at her. "I'm going to get you Phil!" Emna said running after Phil with a snowball in hand. "But Emma,what about our snowman?" Norman asked as he struggled to keep the snowman intact on his own. "I'll help you Norman." I said as I began to gather snow for the snowman head. Norman smile,"Thanks Ray! I'll go get some things from the house." Norman ran off as I put the head on snowman. Minutes latter Norman came back with some materials to finish off the snowman. We used rocks for the eyes and a smile and a carrot for the nose. We even had an old hat that we gave to snowman. Phil offered his scarf but mom wouldn't let him give it to the man made of snow. Phil clearly needs it more that a lump of snow. "Merry Christmas Mr.Snowman,may all be merry and bright!" Phil chanted.

We went insied after are noses turned red and bones felt numb. Mom made hot chocolate. And we read Christmas books and sang Christmas carols while the snow continued to fall. 

"Giggle bells,gingle all the way!"🎵

Our tree glowed bright as the sun faded.

Time skip (night time)

"Hey Ray?" Norman wisperd,"Yeah?" I asked turning over to see Norman stareing at me from across the room,"Merry Christmas!" He said with his usally soft simple Smile. "Merry Christmas Norman." Norman Smile again and I couldn't help but fill immediately happy......

"Merry Christmas everyone, I hope everyone had fun!" Emma yelled a little to loud. "Emma!" Gilda scolded."Oops,my bad!" Emna said still yelling,"Goodnight everyone!" I sighed,"Goodnight Emna. Now please go to sleep, some of us don't have as much energy as you." Emma smiled awkwardly,"Okay, okay I'm sleeping now!" Emma said. But Emna did in fact not go to sleep and instead made shadow puppets on the wall. But still managed to wake up bright and early the next morning fully awake.
