Three girls pushed me against a wall, laughing at my inability to defend myself against their power. I am a late bloomer and have not manifested my power, unlike the rest of the school. This makes me an easy target and these girls pounce.
The girls were a Bark (animal whisperer), a shadow (wielder of shadows and darkness), and a vision (able to make you see things that aren't there). A giant wolf shows up behind the girls and they part for the wolf, I scamper up against the wall as the wolf takes a step forward, it growls and a yelp escapes my lips.
"Help!" I scream, over and over again I scream as I push myself against the wall trying to get away. The wolf stops five feet away from me, then lowers to pounce its eyes promise violence and it drools like a dog with rabies I close my eyes and scream as the wolf hits me and fades away into nothing the girls laugh and one has purple glowing eyes. She must have been creating the wolf, I take a breath of relief but it's short-lived.
Darkness fills my vision and I am unable to see anything, I stumble around and piercing giggles fill my ears. I feel tears flow down my face as the darkness enfolds me so completely that I fear I will never see the world again. I forget to breathe and my knees buckle, my lungs scream for relief but the darkness clouds my mind in a way that makes me forget how to take a breath.
Shrieking fills my ears as leathery wings hit my body, BATS I internally shrieked as I sob from the complete terror that shakes my whole body. The bats shriek in my ears and I cover them as their rip tiny cuts all over my body. Heat bubbles up inside me and just before I can boil over I let it out with a ground-splitting scream. The darkness fades and the bats fly away, the blood-curdling screams from the three girls.
I look up and gasp, the air is dry and filled with burning heat, and fire surrounds all four of us. The fire doesn't affect me but the skin of the girls is burnt back and their hair quickly signing off. The girls choke on the black smoke rising from the flames and the cement under us starts to crack. The fear overwhelms me and I black out, the last thing I see is the hands of the girls turning to ash.
