You felt Gyokko wipe a tear from your cheek, tilting it up so you could look at him. "Its gonna be ok little one~" He says in a gentle yet soothing tone. He brings you in for a hug. Hugging each other tight as you hold back tears.

But a knock on the door startled you both. "Y/N? You awake?" It was Giyuu. "Uhh.. Yeah hang on.." You wiped away the remaining tears as you Opened the door letting in Tomioka. "oh what a lovely day! I get to see both my babies! Come here and give ol gyokko a hug!"

You watched The two of them hug, the embrace broke and he patted Giyuus head. "How has water boy been doing lately?" Gyokko was obviously overjoyed. "been ok I guess. Its my turn to watch Y/N for the day, Nothing much has been happening with the demon slayers." Giyuu said calmly.

"Hm... Thats new...I was thinking they might be doing something." You say.

"Makes me wonder what they are planning. But more reports on your brothers machines have been rapidly increasing."

"Fuck.." You muttered. Gripping the bridge of your nose "How has the reverse engineering been going?"

"Successful. We have managed to create new machines and made them easier to use. Which reminds me, Later tomorrow night the Clones want you to go over some blueprints and test the current creations out" Gyokko says to both you and Giyuu.

"Understood" you both say in unison.

"Also.." You hand Giyuu the letter. "huh.. I guess it would be a good idea to keep are minds off of this for a bit.."

"I have work soon.."

"what do you do for a living?" Giyuu asked.

"I chop fire wood and sell it."

Gyokko gave you a few kissing on your cheeks before you left. "My babies grow up so fast~"

Walking outside to your shed, entering inside and started stacking fire wood on the horse powered cart along with some kindling. Closing the back before whistling for your horse. The stallion loped gracefully to your location and backed up to the front of the cart. Strapped him in and hoped in his back, riding off on the trail that leads to a small village 8 miles away.

"I am surprised they can still move like that with the injury." Giyuu said calmly. "We would help if the demon slayers weren't such a nuisance. but lets just be happy they are still alive and breathing. Hopefully we can figure something out." Gyokko says with worry in his voice. "I have a bad feeling about something. Ill follow them" Giyuu dashes off to your direction.
