Ruby's Seven minutes in Heaven

"Mei.", Yang finished. Mei didn't move from her spot at the sound of her name. "Yo Raiden. It's your turn get up here.", Yang called out to her. Mei pretend not to hear her started playing around with her scroll. "Ugh. Someone grab the new girl.", Yang said.

Two people grabbed Mei under the arms dragged her into the closet. Ruby was pushed in after her by Yang. Who then slammed the door leaving Mei and Ruby in the dark. Ruby found the light's string and pulled it to turn it on.

Ruby now saw that Mei was trying to open the door but couldn't. Mei gave up after trying for minute and sighed and sat down on the floor. Ruby sat down next to her and started talking. "Uhh. How are you liking Beacon so far?", she said to Mei.

Mei looked at Ruby for second before hesitantly speaking. "It's been okay. Far better then my old school.", she says. Ruby frown. "What happened there?", Ruby says.

Mei bit her bottom lip and looked upset. Ruby saw this and tried to reassure her. "If you don't want to talk you don't have to. However if you feel like talking I'm always here if you need.", she said.

Mei stopped biting her lip and said, "Thanks but for now I'd like change subject." Ruby nodded and thought for a minute. "Eaten anything especially good lately?", she asked. Mei's eyes lit up at the new topic and she began  chattering about a new recipe for teriyaki chicken she tried.

Ruby listened to Mei go on passionately about food for the next couple minutes. Ruby thought it was cute she so excited and begun to unconsciously move to the other woman. Then she zeroed in on the others woman's lips. The next thing she knew she interrupted Mei by giving her a kiss.

Mei was shocked but after second started kissing Ruby back. Fingers tangled in hair. Ruby's hand made its way under Mei's shirt. Then Yanked open the door and they both jerked back from each other. "Times up~", Yang said. Both women scrambled out of the closet. Then they went and stood opposite corners but kept looking at each other the rest of night.
