I was in a homeless shelter with Kiko. We were assigned to provide and help those who were had their village caught on fire. As it's being rebuilt, the victims took refuge here and out of all missions we could've gotten, it was this.

Being the annoying blockhead I was, I complained to Kiko who was willingly fixing a bed.

Gray: I'm just saying, Kiko! All this dedicated training on combat and self-defense was supposed to be used on the bad guys, not their victims! Us being here is like putting wet rice on a stick. I'm Lethal Force for chrissakes!

Kiko: Mi- er, Gray. That's enough. You're not exactly the most welcome person in here right now. We are trained to help as many as possible, and to be as helpful as possible.

Gray: Yeah? And what's in it for us? What do we get from it?

Kiko: Listen to yourself! You think we protect our country for profit or something? No! We stand for those who can't! We fight for those who can't! We speak for the silent, and that's final. Whether you like it or not!

Gray: I know damn well who we are. We're fighters, but I thought we were LilyBell operatives who got chosen for our skills and plausible deniability! Limited morality! And we're here lifting boxes of books and other crap for some people who got played with fire?!

Kiko: So you're emotionless, huh? Is that it? Is that why you're named Gray? You're a dark, cold-blooded man with nothing to lose?! Are you this stubborn?!

...

Kiko: You know what, Gr-ay, if you don't wanna help the don't help at all. Put that goddamn box down, go out there and kill some drug pushers or whatever the hell you wanna do.

Kiko dropped the wrench and marched away from my direction.

I curse under my breath, what was I thinking? Was I really gonna follow and obey my own senses or just prove all I'm worth with a gun?

As I conclude that Kiko doesn't wanna see me, I give us some time to cool off. Meanwhile, I search for others who need help in the shelter.

-20 minutes later-

We're supposed to leave and call it a day. Others from LilyBell got on the van, but I didn't spot Kiko.

I searched around the complex, and he was by the stairs that led to the second floor.

Gray: Kiko? C'mon it's time to leave.

Kiko: ...uh, sure. Be there soon.

I sat down with him.

Gray: Kiko... I'm sorry about my outburst-

Kiko: No you're right.

Gray: Huh? No I'm not..
