School Colleague: I'm really glad you came back. Actually. I was really worried. I thought maybe you really quit the university. Well. Everyone was worried, and called you many times.
The newspaper next to Bruce had an article, "A body is found in a Minato-ku park" which was about the fiance's murder.
School Colleague: But... it was always "out of range".
He didn't realized that he broke the microscope.
School Colleague: What's wrong?
Bruce: No... nothing.
School Colleague: Oh. Can you get beaker A-14?
Bruce: Oh. Sure.
He went to grab the beaker, but it breaks the moment he touched it.
School Colleague: What's wrong?!
Bruce: Oh nothing...
School Colleague: Are you okay?
He just stared at the glass shard in his hand when the door opens revealing Ukyo.
School Colleague: Oh... Kuonji-san.
Ukyo: May I speak with Hanjo-san alone please?
School Colleague: Eh?
Bruce didn't say anything and walked out the door.
School Colleague: What's that? A couple's fight? When did those two hook up? What nonsense!
~~Scene Change~~
Bruce followed Ukyo before she stops and turns around to face him.
Ukyo: Why? Why did you kill him?!
Bruce starts to remember. The night her fiance was killed and what Shocker did to him.
Ukyo: Say something, you murderer!
She slaps him, but he didn't flinch.
Ukyo: This doesn't end here!
She walks away and Bruce left. He didn't know that Ukyo was following him in her car. He stops at a red light as a kid was walking across the street. Suddenly a truck was speeding towards her.
Bruce: Watch out!
Bruce grabs the kid and stops the truck with just his bare hand, but the truck falls onto a passing car, crushing it underneath its weight. Ukyo took out her camera and started taking photos.
~~Scene Change~~
Bruce took the kid to a hospital where she was currently resting.
Doctor: It's okay. She just needs to stay hospitalized for a day. Her lungs were traumatized. It's like her chest was hit by some great force.
Bruce reflected back when he stopped the truck. He leaves the room and sat down in the hallway. Meanwhile just outside on the roof, a man was about to jump off. The nurses rushed up to stop him from committing suicide.
Nurse #1: What are you thinking?!
Nurse #2: Don't be stupid! Get down!
A doctor ran up the stairs.
Doctor: Hey, you! Stop it!
Unnamed Patient: Shut up! Leave me alone! Either way... Either way I'm gonna...
Doctor: What are you saying?! If your sickness is treated, you'll recover!
Unnamed Patient: That's a lie! I know... I know I'm going to die!
He goes in to jump, but stumbled back after looking down.
Doctor: Hurry!
The staff ran over and carried him over the railing.
Unnamed Patient: Let me go! Let me go! What are you doing? Let me go!
After that, he was taken back to his room.
Nurse #4: What a real troublesome boy Haruhiko is.
Nurse #3: Yes. I wish more would care. He always seem so lonely.
Nurse #4: Yeah. No one's visited him since he was hospitialized, right?
The nurses closed the door behind them however someone walked in minutes later and left a vase of flowers next to the bed.
~~Scene Change~~
Ukyo returned to the park to visit her fiance's grave or at least the place where he was killed.
Ukyo: F/N (Fiance's name).
Bruce watched from the distance as she prayed. Bruce later arrives at the Racing Club to see a new bike created by his mentor. The bike created and designed by him was named, the Cyclone I.
Bruce: This bike is for me?
Mentor: Well... With your skills, you should be able to control it. Please take good care of it.
Bruce took the time to admite the bike.
Mentor: You... You've changed somehow haven't you?
Bruce: Changed? Me?
Mentor: Yeah. Your face looks more matured. It's not meant to be praised exactly. Rather... It's the face of someone who's lost something. I don't know what happened, but... Don't worry about it. When you lose something... you also receive something.
He gives Bruce the helmet for the Cyclone I.
Mentor: That's how it is.
Bruce took off on his new bike after his mentor gave him that talk.
