"Daddy but we could've won" he says and trust me son I get it. Proud that he doesn't like to lose though

"I know it but you did all you could. As long as you try your best then that's ok. You're not gonna win every game" I say as we walk to the car

"And you did so good baby" Ariana says and I help them in and put Alina in as well before gettin in myself "how about we get pizza and mommy makes you some brownies" she asks

"Yay brownies. Thanks mommy" he exclaims

"You're welcome baby" she says

"Get some of those cheese sticks too" I say as she taps away on her phone

"I know what we like" she says and oop ok then

"Extra pepperoni, you know that" I say

"Yes tubby" she says

"Just for that you ain't rubbing this stomach when I'm full. Get my side chick to do it" I say and she cuts her eyes to me before lookin in the backseat

"You better not have no fuckin side piece or that's your ass" she says slapping my shoulder

"Ow woman I'm driving" I say

"Should've thought about that before sayin that stupid shit" she says and I drive to our usual pizza spot to get the food

"Go get it" I say and she just stares at me blankly

"You insist on pissing me off daily. Go get the food" she says and I just laugh as I get out and pick it up

"One of these days I ain't gon take this abuse" I say handing her the food and getting back in

"You do it to yourself" she says

"All I'm hearin is gaslighting" I say and she flips me off. I enjoy our banter, it makes the love stronger. We soon pull back up at the house and I pull into the garage. I wait for it to be all the way down before turning the car off and getting out. I help Ariana out and she gets Quentin out and he quickly kicks off his cleats and leaves them in the garage. He know Ariana will get him if he track that dirt in the house. I follow her with Alina into the house and close the door. I put the food down before going to get his pads. I take his jersey off it and leave the pads on the shelf in the garage. I throw it in the hamper and walk to the kitchen

"You need a bath" she says wiping some mud from the game off his face

"It was fun" he says as she puts a slice of pizza on his plate

"Those are the best games" I say grabbing a juice box for him and passing it to her. Then turning around and getting one for me

"When all three of y'all go to sleep. I'm going to get some stuff done" she says going to the pantry. I like how she just assume imma just go to sleep, I mean I thought about it but relax

"How you know I'm goin to sleep" I ask grabbing a slice of pizza and sitting at the table

"Because I love you and before I had two kids, I had you" she says

"I am not a child" I rebuttal

"No you're not but you have child like tendencies. It's ok remember I'm natural at this" she says

"Daddy we got college football tonight" he says and I nod my head

"I know we gotta make sure we're up" I say and he turns around in his seat

"Mommy" he says

"Yes" she says

"Um can you wake us up for the game tonight please" he asks
