twenty two

Day one.

Jeno did not know how he ended there, with Jaemin. The last thing he remembered was Renjun asked him to do a favor- which he accepted to it without thinking much.

Only if he knew Renjun would leave him with Jaemin and have his time booked to teach Jisung personally for their upcoming test.

Jaemin was standing on a stool, peeking up from the red brick wall. From there, you can see the road side out of the school clearly, and it also a way to skip school or maybe, if you come late to school (like Jaemin and Chenle always do.)

"What are you trying to do, Jaemin? You know, Mr. Lee will caught us,"

Jaemin hushed Jeno as a gesture for Jeno to shut his mouth, mumbling, "How could Renjun stand your talkative mouth, really. If I were him I already break up with you,"

"Luckily you are not Renjun and don't ever think to be Renjun,"

They stayed silence for a while with Jaemin's eyes still peak from the wall, waiting for Chenle to pass by them. It is the road that Chenle used to go to school. Jaemin was hoping for the boy to come- um yeah he can wait for Chenle in the class but he just can't wait to see the boy.

"Chenle will return home if he see you peeking on him like that. You look creepy-"

"Right? I'm scared to talk to him. I just want to see his face after so long. I miss him." Jaemin said, sighing.

Jeno rolled his eyes, feeling gross with what Jaemin said (while he did not realise he is the same as Jaemin).

"You are too coward, Jaemin. You just have to show up in front of him, telling the truth. About your feeling. Just be honest. Chenle will not judge you, coward."

"Say someone who purposely made Renjun jealous without realising he hurt Renjun instead,"

Jeno did not want to lose, replying, "Say someone who is too dumb to realise he already fell in love with Chenle for a long time but then asked Jisung to date him."

Jaemin and Jeno looked at each other with fiery eyes, both did not want to lose when both of them are dumb actually in relationship. Until Mr. Lee appeared from nowhere.

"What are you doing up there, Na Jaemin? You want me to send you to detention room again?"

Jaemin gulped down on his saliva, looking at Jeno. 'Please Jeno just help me this one time I will never talk bad about you anymore, maybe,' Hoping Jeno could listen to the sound of his heart.

"We are sorry, Mr. Lee. Jaemin was saving a kitten up there. Luckily, the kitten is save now. It just ran away a few seconds ago."

Hearing Jeno's words that was totally a lie made Mr. Lee smiled at Jeno before glaring once again at Jaemin. He then walked away, leaving the two boys that cursed each other with their eyes.

After the interruption made by Mr. Lee, Jaemin continued to peek from the wall while Jeno looked at his phone, receiving message from Renjun.

"Jaemin,"

"What?"

"My baby texted me, he said Chenle already entered the class,"

Mr. Lee interrupted them at the very wrong timing. Maybe that was the time Chenle passed by the road.

"You wasted my time, really. I will go to the class first,"

Day two.

"What if you give him letter?"

Jisung's suggestion the day before made he thought about it all night. Staying up late to write a whole paragraph in a big piece of paper, spraying excessive 'shit' smell perfume that he knows Chenle loves it a lot, and like a elementary school kid he acted, he put some stickers and pasted their photos together in the paper.

Feeling satisfied with the result, Jaemin finally slept at 4 in the morning and wake up three hours after.

Well- when he arrived at school, the second thing he did was walking towards Chenle's locker and place the big piece of letter in envelope he wrote in Chenle's locker.

He already told his new three best friends (Renjun Jeno and Jisung) about that and as expected, Jisung was proud that his idea was being used, Jeno somehow agreed with the idea and asked Jaemin to proceed with the idea but Renjun, he disagreed to it.

"You want to confess for a second time but using the same way like how you confessed to Jisung before but ending up you sent those letter to wrong person?"

"Renjun, trust me. This time I will make sure I did not place it on wrong locker. Just wait and see,"

"Coward."

Chenle entered the class that morning with the big letter in his hand. Jaemin smiled to see the boy was looking at him, and heading to his place.

But the next action was not like what he expected to be.

"I guess this is yours?" Chenle asked.

Jaemin nodded eagerly.

"You placed this in my locker again. I don't want to misunderstood things. So, here." Chenle placed the letter on Jaemin's table before leaving the class to go to teacher's room to explain why he did not come to school last week.

"I already said. Why would you reused the same way to confess? It did not even work." Renjun sat on Chenle's place to talk with Jaemin. Jeno beside him just nodded, agreeing with Renjun (while he is also the person who support Jaemin's plan that morning.)

"Then, what should I do?"

"I said, stop being coward. Look at me. I confessed to Renjun face to face when we were on a study date. And now, he is mine," Jeno said, smiling at the said boy.

"Okay. Let me show you. I am not a coward."

"Show us, then. We will see how far can you do to get Chenle back in your life,"
