"Yeah, so I should go," the blonde said as they rested on the white sheets. It was around 5 pm, and she felt it would be nice to go to her accommodation and gossip with her girlies.
"You can stay," the Briton reacted immediately. He didn't want her to leave. Not yet.
Nea looked at him, her expression softening at his words. "I don't know, Lando. It doesn't seem like a good idea."
"Just have dinner with me, and then I'll bring you home," he proposed.
Nea paused, deliberating over his offer. "Okay, dinner sounds good," she finally agreed with a smile.
"Yeah, that sounds better," he smiled at her, and she had to look away because his smile was infectious. "Italian?"
"Yup. I'm a big fan," Nea replied, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she met Lando's gaze.
"Of me?" he asked her with a cocky smile.
"I was raised as a Red Bull girl, and I'm still one." Raised as a Red Bull girl. That sounded familiar; the girl who broke his heart was raised as one, too.
"Time to switch teams?" the Briton asked her as he reached for his baggy jeans into his luggage. He was always too lazy to unpack. He was so used to the fact that he was always just a few days in one place.
"Well, maybe. Oscar is talented," the blonde teased Lando.
"Oscar, huh?" he asked her as he approached her. Nea began to reverse as Lando got closer and closer, but she eventually hit the wall.
"Oscar," she repeated quietly with a grin on her face.
"You weren't screaming his name last night, tho," the Briton said with a boyish grin and stole one quick kiss before stepping away. He was in a playful mood but also hungry.
Nea's laughter filled the room, her cheeks flushing a deeper shade of pink at Lando's cheeky remark. "Well, you have a point there," she admitted.
Lando chuckled, pleased with himself. "I always do," he quipped, heading back towards his luggage to finish getting dressed. Nea watched him, admiring the way he moved, so confident and effortless.
"A bit too confident, aren't we?" The Swede asked him as she slipped into her dress from yesterday.
Lando glanced back at her with a grin, "Confidence is key, Nea. Besides, it seems to be working."
Nea rolled her eyes playfully, smoothing down her dress. "Maybe it is," she conceded, her voice light with amusement. "But don't let it go to your head."
"Too late," Lando replied with a laugh. "It's already there."
Nea shook her head, a fond smile playing on her lips. "You're impossible," she said.
Lando walked over to her, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "But you like me that way, don't you?"
She bit her lip, trying to suppress a smile. "Maybe," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
