Magic Knights Entrance Exam
"This concludes the exams." Captain William announced to the examinees. "Now candidates whose numbers are called, please step forward."
Captain Charlotte stood from her seat. "The squad captains will raise their hands if they would like you to join their squad. The candidates will decide if they would like to accept or decline, and if they are chosen by more than one captain, they may choose which squad they'd like to join."
"But if no one raises their hands, the candidate will not join the Magic Knights." Captain Fuegoleon said.
"And you will leave immediately." Captain Nozel added rather calmly.
Everyone made their little sound of shock at the news. They all thought back to how they performed during the exams and wondered what was going to happen.
"Candidate #1, step forward."
"Y-Yes, sir!" The young man that was called let out nervously.

"Number 32, no offers." The announcer said.

"Number 40, no offers."
-
"Number 45, no offers."
-
"Number 67, no offers."

Someone raised their hand as the next candidate stepped forward.
"Number 71, the Purple Orcas."
Everyone was surprised at this since the people before this guy didn't get any offers from any of the Squad Captains.

"Number 78."
Captain Fuegoleon offered his hand. "I shall welcome him."
"The Crimson Lion Kings."

"Number 99, the Coral Peacocks."
Captain Dorothy raised her hand through her sleep. Damn.

"Number 116, no offers."
"Damn it!" The young man dropped to his knees in despair

"Number 141, no offers."
"Well, I guess I expected that." The rejected male said as he walked by the crowd. "I'll just go back to my village and till the fields."
His smile did nothing to mask his sorrows.
'That's tough...' Y/n thought to himself.

"Next, #164."
Yuno grabbed his elegant necklace for comfort. "Yes, sir." He began to walk to the Captains.
'Yuno.' Both Asta and Y/n thought as Yuno stood before the Squad Captains.
