chapter 2

Maggie and I walked out the door with Mel but separated from her as soon as we got to the street. Suddenly Maggie turns around "Brian, why are you following me?" I hear her say so I turn around to see him "I was on my way out, and you where going to go threw the woods." He says "It's safe, besides I'm not alone, y/n's with me." She says. "Come on, I'm driving then, what? Friends give friends rides." He says "We where gonna try some space." Maggie tells him that's when I decide to walk ahead, give them some privacy. She soon catches up with me when their done talking I just look at her and know she doesn't want to talk about it so I keep quiet.

Mom:Girls.
          Come home
          Right now.
          All of you.

Is the message I see from mom. I start to look for Maggie but see her taking a selfish with Lucy, the head of the kappa that Maggie is rushing for. "Lower the volume please! Need I remind you that since the Angela Woo coma sitch we are quote on quote dry, and not looking to attract attention." I hear her shout out as I walk over to them and I spot Mel which makes me run towards them. "Oh, no she's definitely not." Mel says. "Oh my gosh, what are you doing here?" Maggie says. "Mom has been texting, she needs us all at home." Mel says. "What do you mean she needs us?" Maggie asks "You obviously got the message cause you check your phone every five seconds. Fine I'll just hang out here and gage these young men in discussions of rape culture..." Mel says "Stop it....." Maggie start arguing with her so I just walk to the door to wait for them

Y/n to Mel and Maggie
Y/n: I'm by the door waiting for you guys if you'd like to hurry up.

I send the message to them and watch them Mel starts talking to someone about consent so Maggie pulls her to the door talking to her and I just shake my head at them.

Once we get home I hear the two of them arguing about Maggie have vomit on Mel's boots and saying she'll clean them. When suddenly we get attacked by birds and it's freezing cold in the house. "Mom! Mom!" Mel yells and then we hear a door close so we all look at each other and go upstairs to look for Mom. We walk into the attic and see the broken window so we run to it. "Noooo!!!!" We all scream when we see Mom lying dead on the ground outside. So we run back outside to her.

THREE MONTHS TIME SKIP.

"You hit someone." Maggie says when we see Mel "Don't worry about it." She says and starts to walk away. "Seriously you're a graduate student, teaching assistant, you could loose your job. See this is why we don't come home anymore. Your loosing it." Maggie says. "Then why are you here?" Mel asks "Because we need clothes, Maggie for rush  and me for work." I say as I walk upstairs because I know what's about to come.

I hear knocking on the door so I walk to the staircase to see who it is and realize I don't know them so I go back to my room when suddenly the lights go out and I hear screaming that's when I run downstairs to see what happened.

We're all standing in the living room when I decide to introduce myself to the women standing by Maggie, "HI I'm y/n I live with the Vera's." I say "HI I'm Macy, I think I'm their sister." She says making me look at Maggie to see what she means and Maggie just shrugs her shoulders at me showing that she doesn't know either. They start talking about a photo that Macy has when I decide to look for candle so that we don't have to stand in the dark. I hear shouting and the door slamming and look to see Macy leaving and Mel storming off so I carry on looking for a candle to take to my room with me.

I'm at work when suddenly time stops, that's when I realize the disters have unlocked their powers and run to see Mel and Nico at a table and Mel freaking out when time continues again and she runs away.

I get home from work and hear screaming so I rush upstairs to see the girls tied down and Harry siting and talking to them, trying to discuss their magic with them, it's not going very well. Mel starts talking about how there's something off about harry and he he starts to feel offended. "Untie us right now or I'll s..." "No that's not necessary let me get those for you, I know it's all so extreme with the grabbing and the binding believe me I'd like to just untie you. There we are." He says and snaps his fingers, I have a headache so I walk to my room not in the mood for what's to come.
