Chapter VI

The sun shined bright and flashed across Loid's face. He opened his eyes kept his hand behind his neck. He then took a glare at the alarm clock just beside him. He was late for work! He got up and rushed to the shower. After his warm bath, he wore his typical white shirt and some turquoise jacket on top with some pants.

He went down to the kitchen and to his surprise, he saw some gifts lying on sofa with a freshly-made cup of coffee and some of Loid's homemade cookies arranged on the table. Yor looked at Loid smiling and blushing a little bit. He sat on the sofa and drank the coffee while munching down his cookies.

Anya barged out of her room, "Happy birthday papa!" her face lit up. Loid looked at her, surprised that she woke up by herself.

"Open the gifts, Loid-san." Yor blushed as she brushed her hair off her forehead. Loid picked a gift up and started unwrapping it, to his surprise he got a fancy watch.

"Yor, this is too expensive, I can't accept it!" He said softly as he looked at her. Yor smiled, "It's okay, enjoy your special day." Loid's eyes widened; his spark was back. "Alright, lets go to the movies in the evening today!" They agreed.

Evening finally arrives, they all get ready to go to the movies.

They got into the car. Anya turned on the radio, some songs were playing which she liked a lot. They eventually reached the movies. Loid told them to select which movie to watch.

Anya's eyes went over to the romance movie just at the left-hand side, 'If we watch a romance movie, then mama and papa might kiss. Then finally my ship would come true!' She looked at the with a weird smile. Yor looked over to the right and saw a poster of an action movie, "Uhm Loid-san I wanna watch that movie."

She pointed it out. He was stunned to expect Yor to watch these kinds of movies. "Well, it works so let's watch it." Anya went all confused.

They walked over to the ticket counter for their tickets. After getting their ticket went to the theatre to see many people already sitting on the seats. The hall was quite huge.

Loid looked for their seat, meanwhile Anya was already munching down her butter popcorn! They found their seats and sat down as the movie was starting. It was about some superheroes who had a mission to destroy a deadly assassin.

Yor and Anya were quite thrilled, meanwhile Loid was really bored. He sighed and closed his eyes for a bit. Yor noticed him being bored, "Are you bored of watching the movie, Loid-san?" He opened his eyes, "Oh no, Yor! I'm not being bored, just enjoy the movie." He smiled awkwardly.

The movie ended and they came out of the theatre. "Uh I'm kinda hungry." Anya looked at the both while her stomach growled.

Loid thought of eating in a fancy restaurant, everyone agreed so they went to a very fancy restaurant just nearby. They went there and they were astonished. It was decorated beautifully with flowers and lights. The tables and chairs were as shiny as crystal. Even the staff was really polite!

They sat down in one of the chairs and looked at the menu. As expected, the food was certainly expensive. "Yor, do you want some wine?" He said as he looked at the menu. Yor nodded, so he called the waiter, "Two glasses of wine and a glass of orange juice please!"

the waiter noted it down and went over to the kitchen. Yor's eyes went over to Loid's hand and saw he wore the watch she gave him, "Oh, you actually wore the watch I gave you!" She smiled as she fixed her hair. "Ah you just noticed?" he chuckled. Yor looked down as she slightly blushed.

The waiter came back with their order and distributed the drinks. Anya looked excited as she grabbed the glass of juice with her tiny hands. "This taste amazing! Anya loves it."

She actually managed drink all of it at once. Yor chuckled, "Anya-san, don't drink your juice so fast!" Loid took a sip of the wine. "Wow, this wine's quality is really good, don't you think Yor?" looked like she was out of her mind. "Yor?"

She jerked and she was back in her mind, "Ah, you called Loid-san?" She awkwardly smiled. "If there's any kind of problem, don't be afraid to tell me." He held her hands as he smiled. Yor's eyes widened, she smiled, "Mhm!"
