The Avenger's Adventure

Ch: 2 The midnight meeting.

In the quiet and peaceful home of Steve rogers, you would find everything still and at rest.

The sound of small snores coming from a nearby room, lead to the one and only Captain America.

Curled up in crimson sheets, Steve slept peacefully. Until, a ferocious knock was planted on his front door.

Steve jerked up, with bad bed hair and small pink creases that carved into his cheeks from the sheets. His eyebrows furrowed, as he reached for his well-known shield that lied at the right side of his bed.

He threw on a plain black shirt as he tiptoed out of his room and towards the apartment door.

The knocking grew louder every second, making the situation tense.

Steve placed a single hand on the cold iron of the door knob, slowly counting to three in his head.

1....

*knock*

2....

*knock, KNOCK*

3....

*KNOCK,KNOCK *

As Steve pulled the door open with a strong swing, he meet a fimilar face with the grin of a trouble-maker.

"TONY!?"Steve gulped, looking back at his clock on the stove that showed the awful 4:00am.

"What are you doing here!?" He yelled clutching his shield.

"I wanted to show you a couple of brochures for our trip!" Tony smiled not paying any attention to Steve's anger.

"Do you even sleep!?"

"Sleep is for the weak. Now, what do you think is a good place for a couple of heroes to hang out? "

Steve began to squeeze the knob of the wooden door consisting on shutting in front of Tony's face. Tony spoke more and more as Steve's eyes began to grow weaker and weaker.

He began to get weary and  decided it was best to hit the hay.

"Good night tony"...Steve protested shutting the door slowly.

"But w-wait there's mor-"
Before the shorter man could finish the door was slammed shut.

"What about Hawaii!?" Tony shouted over the sound of Steve's footsteps moving away on the other side. Tony began to blabber more and more until interrupted by a disagreeing voice.

"GOODNIGHT TONY..." Steve yelled trying to end the converation.

Tony sighed. "We'll talk about it later in the morning."  He thought as he chuckled. Walking away from the door he then procceded to yawn,getting a bit sleepy himself.
