A year had passed after Sherbet Cookie's passing, Cotton Cookie had been lonely but eventually moved on slowly and helped other cookies in need, even if Sherbet Cookie wasn't with her, she'll remember him 'till the end of her time.

However, she gets an unexpected surprise for herself.

Cotton Cookie was helping with the sheeps get to their pens for the night, unfortunately one of the sheeps, Melly, ran off again and Cotton Cookie had to find the poor sheep quick since a huge snow storm is coming to the village.

After what felt like hours, Cotton Cookie managed to find Melly and was helping her back into the pen with the other sheeps, after she put Melly in the pen, she went back inside her home and changed her herding outfit and into her warm clothes as she made herself a warm mug of hot chocolate. She sat on her armchair and watched the snow storm through her window as she sipped into her mug.

The storm reminded her a lot when she went to find Sherbet Cookie.

Sherbet Cookie...

She knew a year had past since then, but sometimes her heart aches when she thought about her friend. But there was more than that...

When they became friends, she was slowly falling in love with her friends but hide her feelings from Sherbet Cookie, too afraid to ruin their friendship. But, since she never had the courage to reveal her true feelings as she watched her friend turned into a spirit-like and left to explore Earthbread, she was sad at first, but wanted Sherbet Cookie to achieve his dreams and watched him left without saying a word, a warm smile on her face.

Anyways, back to Cotton Cookie.

She would think about the times she and Sherbet Cookie spend together before he was alive. Oh how a lively he was! She would never forget his warm smile and how he gentlly held her hand, it makes her blush everytime he done that.

After she finished her drink, she yawned as she went to the kitchen and washed her mug before going to sleep. She lay down on her bed and was slowly drifting off as she thought 'Oh Sherbet Cookie, I still wished you were here with me, just one last time...' Then finally, she drifted off to sleep.

The Next Day...

When the morning rises, Cotton Cookie slowly opened her eyes as she sat up and gave short stretched while yawning. Then she got out off bed, but suddenly held her stomach when she felt a sudden sickness appearing, after a moment it stopped as Cotton Cookie rubbed her stomach in confusion.

Did she eat or drink anything weird yesterday? This can't be right, she didn't eat anything strange or weird yesterday. She decided to have her questions answered later and decided to eat breakfast. Only that she'll have her answers soon once she ate breakfast.

When she saw eating breakfast, she felt sick again as she covered her mouth and went straight to the bathroom, she started puking on the toilet about an hour or two when she heard the door of her home knocking "Ugh...come in. Hrk!" She then went back to puking as the door opened to reveal an older cookie, Bread Bun Cookie (made up character) "Cotton Cookie dear? Are you alright? It sounds like your sick?" Bread Bun Cookie asked as Cotton Cookie replied, still sick "I'm good...just *puked again* sick..."

Bread Bun Cookie came to the bathroom to see Cotton Cookie clutching into the toilet tightly as she puked again, she looked at her worried and told Cotton Cookie to stay put while she went to get a doctor. Which she did when Bread Bun Cookie left to find the village doctor.

A few minutes later, Bread Bun Cookie managed to get the doctor once the puking went away, as the doctor checked up on Cotton Cookie, he said he will get the results in a moment and told Cotton Cookie to stay in her seat and as he experiment the results. Cotton Cookie looked worried but stayed calm once the results would come out. She hoped it wasn't too bad.
