As another year passed, and another time to wait for Sherbet Cookie to come home once his journeys are done.

As Cotton Cookie and her daughters make their fond wish while everyone else went home, they didn't think their greatest wish would come true.

(Hey guys, this is just an AU and not the actual thing from the story, I decided to make this special chapter when I found out Sherbet Cookie was now available!

Inside of a cottage, Polar Cotton Cookie was making hot chocolate for herself, her mother and her sister for tonight, since it was time to hang the lanterns for her father to come someday.

She heard her sister, Sherpard Cookie, coming through the kitchen and happily exclaimed "Big sis, hurry up! We don't want all the spots on the tree to be taken." Polar Cotton Cookie chuckled as she spoke "I'm coming, just had to bring hot chocolate for you and mom now."

After that, the sisters then went to the living room to see their mother preparing the lanterns for each of them as Polar Cotton Cookie gave her mother her mug filled with hot chocolate in it, she thanked her as the warmly drank their hot chocolate happily.

After that, they left their cottage and join everyone else who hanged their lanterns on the tree they used to hang every year. Luckily, they managed to put their lanterns on a good spot of the tree as they hung them highly as the lights of the lantern brighten. Then, everyone made their wishes.

Slowly, everyone went back to their homes while the small family decided to stay behind for a few more moments, they were happily watching the tree filled with lanterns and the stars that twinkled brightly that filled the dark night "Hey mom...?" Sherpard Cookie spoke up as Cotton looked down to her youngest daughter "Yes dear?" She asked as Sherpard Cookie asked "Do you think dad will be back from his journeys someday?"

Cotton Cookie smiled as she softly answered "I'm sure dear, and when he gets back, he'll share so many stories for us to hear from his journeys, plus it'll be exciting to meet your father for the first time in years." This made Sherpard Cookie smiled brightly, then Polar Cotton Cookie spoke up "Um...mom, Sherpard Cookie, is it just me...or is the wind around us warmer than before?" She spoke with caution in her voice.

Ever since Polar Cotton Cookie got her ice and snow powers through her necklace when they it for her as a gift, she's been practicing her powers greatly without any harm, she can aslo feel a presence or the atmosphere around her thanks to her powers.

Cotton Cookie and Sherpard Cookie felt the winds warmer too as they looked around to see the source of this, when the winds to their side are swooshed strongly as they held their coats and each other until it was calm, when they did, they turned to see another cookie but much more different from them. The cookie's dough is a powder blue color. His hair is slightly spiky, and has light blue sparkles on it. He wears a navy blue tunic with matching pants and wristbands and white boots. Around his neck is a flowing white scarf with a cerulean star on it as the cookie carries a navy blue staff.

Their eyes widen when they saw him, even though he was different they knew exactly who that cookie was when they first laid their eyes on him. After a moment of silence, Cotton Cookie whispered in a soft voice "Sherbet Cookie...?" The cookie smiled as he opened his arms awaiting for a hug.

The moment he did, Cotton dropped the items she was carrying and ran up to him as she gave him the warmest and tightest hug she could give as Sherbet Cookie happily laughed an spun themselves in a circle as warmly laughed together. Meanwhile, Polar Cotton Cookie and Sherpard Cookie were watching their parents reunited at the moment with awestruck looks on their face.

However, they flinched when their father made eye contact with them as he looked at Cotton Cookie and back at them, she nodded at him as he looked at them once more and opened his arms to give room for them to hug. When they saw it, they then happyily ran towards their parents and joined the hug as the sisters happily and warmly laughed while the parents chuckled.

When they got back to the cottage, Cotton Cookie had been telling Sherbet Cookie about their life here in the village, to the day she gave birth to Polar Cotton Cookie 'till the day they met him tonight. Both the girls went to sleep as Sherbet Cookie promised to tell his daughters about the journeys he had all those years ago.

Meanwhile, both Cotton Cookie and Sherbet Cookie were still awake as they were cuddling in Cotton Cookie's bed in a comfortable silence "I can't believe your back now... there's so much that happened to us while you were gone." Cotton Cookie whispered as she buried her face in Sherbet Cookie's chest as he softly chuckled and then smiled "I can tell, I can't wait to tell you and the girls about the journeys I had tomorrow morning."

Cotton Cookie softly chuckled and smiled as she looked up to see Sherbet Cookie's face, as they slowly lean towards each other until they gave each other a small but passionate kiss. This lasted about another minute until they pulled away as they lay down and hugged each other until they fell into a peaceful slumber.

This was the best time of the year with the little family now that their loved one and father was home, safe and sound.
