"Pull me up, I can't swim on my own."
I believe that it takes two people to make a relationship fully work. Two people who are willing to break down the others walls, and never take the other for granted.
I thought I found that when I met Ashton. It was as if he had the entire package. He was very charming, and I couldn't put my finger on it at the time, but something just attracted me to him. And ever since then, it's been a sea storm relationship.
Ashton's POV
"Ashton!" Olivia said excitedly walking into the living room of the apartment we shared.
"What?" I asked slightly annoyed. She didn't seem to notice my tone of voice.
"Guess what I got!?" She sang.
"What?"
"My co-worker Erica got us tickets to the carnival!" She said excitedly.
I groaned, but she didn't seem to hear it because she kept going on and on about how great it would be.
"Do you think we could ride the ferris wheel? I love the ferris wheel! You're so high, it's like you can touch the clouds!" She said.
"No it doesn't." I stated.
"Wh-what?" She asked.
"It doesn't feel like you're touching the sky. Besides aren't we a little too old for carnivals?" I questioned.
"But, you'll still come with me right?" She asked softly.
I looked at her, and she gave me those puppy dog eyes that always had an effect on me. As much as I don't want to go to this stupid carnival, I always want to make Olivia happy.
"Of course I'll still take you." I said. She squealed as she kissed my cheeks multiple times.
"Look Ashton, the ferris wheel! Let's go!" She said pulling me towards the ride.
"Seriously Olivia? If this is all we came for, this is stupid." I snapped.
"If you're going to act like this, let's just go home." She said letting go of my hand.
