"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal"
-Headstone of a loved one.
Death is described in many different ways. In each culture and religion there is always a symbolism of death. Whether it be a man in a long black cape or a crow flying above.
In the bible it is described as the judgement and condemnation of God, whilst in African culture it is believed life does not end with death but continues in another realm.
Suicide is seen as selfish, yet Seppuku is seen as honorable.
I am often asked how I view life. Whether it be by my siblings or my "employees." Others just seem interested in how I view the life forms that I just so "carelessly" take away. I suppose they must think I feel pity, or perhaps hatred. If not hatred, "How could I kill all those people?"
I didn't kill them.
They killed themselves, or others around them.
Usually, death can be seen linked to four causes.
Pestilence, or sickness.
War.
Famine.
And one who cannot be named...
"How could you kill all those people? You selfish monster?"
I didn't.
They did.
I can't control humans' actions.
Why am I always the one to blame?
I haven't killed a single person, or demon.
Yes. I am death.
No. I don't wear a black cape or carry a scythe.
How stupid.
I can't feel hatred anyways.
