"You need to drink your juice, Samantha."

"But I don't wanna." She wined. My children are such a handful sometimes. I'm glad I don't have work today so I can make sure Samantha eats all her food before preschool. Sometimes when I'm getting ready myself they just throw the food they don't want to eat away.

"Joseph is drinking all his juice." It was true my son was drinking his. It's a good thing he always eats all of his food so I can use that to get Samantha to eat all of hers. Samantha pouts and starts drinking her juice. I stand and ruffle her hair, walking upstairs to finish getting ready. I pull on a cream sweater with an ice cream cone on it and a pair of black skinny jeans. My makeup was quick and easy, some mascara, lipgloss, and concealer. When I go back into the kitchen my little balls of sunshine have finished their breakfast and are putting their plates in the sink.

"Good. Now we don't want you guys to be late." They nod and we go to the front door where Joseph pulls on his batman rain boots, I pull on my black vans and I put on Samantha's princess rain boots. It had been raining all morning and I don't want them to ruin their good shoes. Just because I'm a model doesn't mean I'm rich and can afford to buy them new shoes. We go outside and down the stairs to my blue Mazda 6. I strap them in and start going to school. We are about halfway there when Samantha asks a question I was hoping to avoid for eternity.

"Mommy?"

"Yes."

"Where's daddy? Other kids daddy's drop them off." I knew Samantha would ask this at one point I just didn't know so soon. Joseph didn't ask those kinds of things cause he knew what happened to his parents. You see my little sister had Joseph at an even younger age and her and Joseph's dad had been in a car accident 2 years ago so I was given Joesph.

"Well he's working and he's very busy."

"Well, why doesn't he come home?"

"He works in another country."

"Oh ok." I'm glad that that was enough for her as we had gotten to her preschool. I get the two out and take her in. Samantha is happy to be there and after I drop her off I drop Joseph off. I sigh as I drive off. It's hard being the single mother of 2 so I take any chance of peace and quiet I can get. I swing into Starbucks to get myself a frappuccino.

"Hey, Cameron!"

"Hey, Rachel! Your normal?!" I put my thumbs up and go to my normal spot but I find that it's taken up by 5 guys. I shrug and sit behind them. They were defiantly not regulars. I knew everyone around that's why no one looked at me strangely when I came in here and started yelling. Cameron comes over, gives me my frap and sits down across from me.

"Soooooooooo, how's it going?"

"Pretty good. Nothing bad happened recently"

"Same. Did you hear One Direction's in town?"

"What? Why would they be here? I mean I get London but here?"

"They needed a break or something."

"Well, I hope I don't see them while they're here."

"Same. I need to get back to work so we'll talk later. Bye, darling." She starts up and leaves the booth.

"Bye!" I finish my drink before standing up and disposing of my empty cup.

After getting back from grocery shopping I clean the house making sure that the kid's toys are out of the way and that the shoes are in the closet. My boss suddenly calls.

"Rachel. How has your day off been?"

"Relaxing. So what are you calling about?"

"Well, we need you in the studio early tomorrow."

"How early is early?" The doorbell rings and I walk downstairs to go answer it.

"7ish."

"Ok, then I'll be there. Goodbye, I have someone waiting at the door."

"Well, goodbye Rachel." I hang up and put my phone in my back pocket and open the door shocked by what I see.

"What are you guys doing here?"
