There she was.... Beth fucking Boland walking into the warehouse like she was some sort of queen owning the place.

Y/N couldn't believe it.

"What in the hell did Rio see in her?" She whispered at Mike while she counted the legit money they had in the warehouse, but he just shrugged and stayed quiet because he didn't want to start any heated fights between him, his boss and her.

"It's fucking ridiculous." Y/N started again, mad that the woman didn't even bother to announce her visit beforehand and she just stepped in unbothered to let anyone know. Whatever Rio saw in her, all Y/N could see in the woman was a bitch that screwed her best friend over and over again so much she even lost count how much money Beth owed Rio and it angered her how much he still cared for her. He even was so focused on Beth he started to pay less attention to his best friend and so she began to avoid him too.

She never came to the meetings again, nor did she visit him in the warehouse during the night with his favourite coffee or food anymore. She was so done with it all.... she just wanted her friend back....

"Aren't you a bit too jealous?" Mike suddenly whispered back while they watched Rio push Beth's bangs out of her face and greet her with a grin like usual.

"Excuse you?" She scoffed and dropped her work onto her desk to watch the bald man next to her.

"You are really bothered by this all, but shouldn't you be happy for him?"

"Happy for him? He's fucking a bitch that owes him more money than I'll ever earn in my whole life and you see her as a good thing for him?" She crossed her arms and gave him a dead glare. "She's ruining his business and his life."

"You're being too dramatic."

"She got him arrested, shot him, lied to him about being pregnant and losing his kid, am I still being too dramatic? She's poison, his rotten egg." She pointed at the man's chest and Mike sighed, knowing she was right. "And he has to get rid of her."

"Get rid of who?" Rio walked towards Y/N from behind and she slowly turned around in her leather chair.

"You know who I'm talking about, Christopher." She didn't even care to hide her disgust and got up from her chair to put on her jacket. "Now if you all excuse me, I'm going to take a long break until she's gone."

"You're not going anywhere." He growled low, but the woman ignored it and walked out of the warehouse before he could stop her. "Y/N!" He yelled and ran a hand down his face. "Jesus Christ."

"She's been mad at you for a long while, boss." Mike sat down and leaned back in his chair, shoes on the edge of the small desk with his arms crossed.

"I noticed." He groaned and grabbed his car keys from his pretty office upstairs before he came back down. "Keep an eye on the warehouse, I'll be back."
