A/N: I tried to write a very short Halloween special with Rio and an OC I might use for an upcoming fic. Enjoy. ♥️
Summary: A detective tries to solve the stranger case, an unsolved case with countless of missing people.
Timeline: Different universe.
Pairing: None.
Warning: None.~~~
It was that time of the year again.... the time when people carve fun faces into pumpkins and glue their eyes to their televisions to watch all kinds of horror movies under a full moon. However, for people like us Halloween was something completely different, a perfect time for the wrong people to make an appearance and for us to stop them before it was too late....

10-31-2013 The Stranger Case File
00:00 AMIt was dark outside early, that was normal for the 31th of October, though the weather was strange and obscure. The air was thick, the sky was completely black filled with clouds and the streets were filled with a mysterious fog.
Kira found it odd.
Normally kids would be running from house to house to collect some delicious candy, but today the streets were abandoned and all the bright lights in her streets that she could usually see through the windows were all off.
It was like everyone was asleep or out of town.
Kira felt uncomfortable with the thought of being alone during Halloween even though it was her favorite holiday and her eyes scanned the streets once again in the hope to find at least one person that was walking their dog. All she saw was the fog closing around her home even more and she sighed. She was probably just being paranoid.
Walking back to her sofa to turn her tv on, she suddenly heard her doorbell ring two times not even a second later and her head shot up.
Not long ago she had been looking through her window only to see that no one was there, who could possibly be at her door that quick?
Kira grew a little suspicious, but still, being the polite woman she was, she opened the door to the stranger. He was a tall, slender man wearing a black oversized blouse, beautiful silver chains and a simple pair of blue jeans with a black matching cap against the cold. It was neatly styled and it was clear he cared about his outfits, but besides that she didn't know anything about the stranger.
She had never seen the man around.
"Can I help you?" She sweetly asked despite the terrible feeling that settled in her stomach and the man nodded slowly, his face partly covered by shadows while he looked down at her.
"You see, I lost my son when he was trick or treating." He folded his hands behind his back, his eyes watching her every move, and Kira slowly calmed down even though he was giving off bad vibes. It was as if he knew how she felt when he gave her a wide calming smile that she returned as well.
"You could come in if you'd like? Talk about what your son looks like and where you last saw him?" She suggested and stepped out of the way so he could come inside.
"I would love that, I'm Rio by the way." He held out his hand once he was standing in the doorway and she took it.
"I'm Kira."
"Exactly the one I was looking for~."

"Kira Reid, 28 year-old-woman, missing since 10-31-2013." The detective whispered to himself.
No one knew what happened on that dark night.
People had reported indeed seeing a tall man being at the young woman's doorstep that night, but no one knew who he was or where he came from. Some said it was Death coming to claim the young woman's life, the boogeyman that drained her soul, the devil that finally came to get what belonged to his, and others said it was a creep, a kidnapper, a killer that prayed on women that lived alone on Halloween.
Did it really matter?
The only thing that mattered now was that even 10 years later no one was able to find Kira or solve her case, but countless reports on Halloween of the tall man were piling up every year.
