I'm the only one of my kind left, the only perfect being... no, near perfect I will conquer the sun and carry on my fathers legacy no matter how many decades or centuries it will take. It's probably best if I stay low, even though most of the demon slayers died with my father and the moons that boy is still alive, and until the demon slayers and breathing styles are gone I'm at risk, all of this will most likely be forgotten in a century or so, that's how humans are, if there's no need for it they'll forget it, forget their ancestors who sacrificed their lives so that they could live peacefully without fear of what is in the dark. Knowing that the government never recognized the corps and that few people even knew of the corps let alone demon it won't take too long, we'll for me at least, it would be a lifetime for those pathetic humans.

My hearts beat fast within my body, within a matter of seconds I would become the perfect living being. As I entered the room I saw what my late father had spent his entire lifetime searching for, the blue spider lily. I took a second to admire it, i knew I had time, everyone in the lab was asleep and I had dealt  with the cameras with my blood demon art before I had gotten close enough to to the building for my shadow to be seen in the moonlight. Even if someone woke up I would be able to deal with them quickly, as I thought, no one remembered the corps or demons, the few story's that were passed down through generations are thought of nothing but myth. As I picked the mysterious lily up delicately I let out a soft laugh, Im finally going to conquer the sunlight, as I grabbed the fakes from my bag I walked to the thermostat, it would be dumb to just take them.

I spent the day enjoying the daylight, it was my first time touching the sun in my whole life, it was so strange i feel like my life is complete. I remember seeing an interview on the tv the day before on the oldest person in Japan, normally I wouldn't pay any attention to such stupid things but the name of the person caught my attention...
Ubuyashiki
The only person left who remembers the demon slayer corps, the one who help kill the moons and my father. I debated paying him a vist but I decided not to at first. to just let that disgusting pile of flesh die of natural causes. I suppose it might have been more then that, perhaps due to the fact that I became the only demon hours after my father went to the previous head of the ubuyashiki clan. But the more I thought about it I felt as if I should, not to kill him but to let him know that there is still a demon out there and that there's nothing he can do about it, people will think he's just a crazy old man due to his age while he's stuck living out his last couple years knowing I'm out there taking more lives and there's nothing he can do about it. So after about half an hour I found when he lived, with the internet it was so easy.

How long has it been since I've conquered the sun now? How long have I been alone for?
I've been changing my appearance and disguising my self as a human, I have no need to really, there's no demon slayers anymore,I suppose it's just cause I don't want to be alone, even so I have to leave what ever humans I stay with after about 10-20 years so they won't find out about me, it pains me to kill and eat my only company after a couple years. I can't even create new demons to spend eternity with me as I'm only half demon, even full demons such as the moons couldnt do it on their own, as my father had to "activate" the blood to turn the person into a demon if he chose them. I can't die now unless the universe itself decides to kill me and send me to hell so I keep on moving throughout the years. Demons haven't fully disappeared yet though, it appears that normal animals are mutating due to the Remnants of the blood, they appear to be not only changing appearance but dna, and some are even developing powers such as mice that look to be able to create and use lightning, animals aren't the only things this is happening to, some plants are becoming sentient and developing powers as well. I find this extremely intriguing I'll probably run some tests on some... it will give me something to do since most of humanity died due to a plague, tragic but it's what happens to humans.

The world has changed a lot, almost all of the animals that didn't mutate to develop powers are extinct now, humanity has now repopulated although it's now like the world has started over, all of the technology developed has been destroyed and forgotten.  Nearly every country I once knew has been renamed and what it once was, forgotten. The Japan I grew up in is now 4 separate countries, I've travelled all over the world since the end of the "demon era" As I've decided to call it, since I'm the only demon left and I'm not even a full demon, I'm currently in 1 country of what used to be Japan, the country I'm in is called hisui.

it's quite interesting actually, there's 2 clans that live in the land here and worship the same god but each clan believes that the good rules over something different, the dimond clan, to them  sinnoh rules time, and the pearl clan who believes sinnoh rules over space. Of course they weren't the first people here there was the celestica people before them and long before them there was the demons and demon slayers although that time has been long forgotten, even the celestica have been nearly forgotten with probably less then a hundred of their descendants still being alive, and of course I've been here for atleast a millennium now, probably longer but time is relative all humans die and the past is forgotten. A new group of people have recently came here from many parts of the world to build a small village hoping to restart in this land and move on from what ever pitiful past they have.

I've moved into the village as it reminds me a lot of the towns and city's when my father was still alive. Feeding has become alot harder to do without getting caught but I do manage by targeting people from the clans or galaxy team while they're far away from help and making it look like a Pokémon attack.

There's a strange hole in the sky that appeared one day, every one has been freaking out about it I've found it quite interesting, I'm pretty sure that merchant from the gingko guild knows something about it, he's good at hiding it though, although after living for as long as I've had you can easily tell when someone is lying. I've been trying to not get attached to anyone here as they'll all die sooner or later, it's difficult though I've never been as heartless as my father or the kizuki, as much as I hate to admit it I miss them, I would do anything to bring them back, no one thought that they would all die that night while i did expect the replacement for upper 6, to die and maybe even nikamne-san along with tons of non ranked demons I could've never expected the moons and my father to die.

I failed.. I got attached to a kid who fell from the rift in the sky, then other people from the village, the galaxy team, the diamond con, the pearl clan and even people from that stupid gingko guild. I'm going to have to leave them soon so they don't know, then they'll be dead by the time I return. I've decided that I want to go to down in history I'm tired of living in the dark, while I won't outright say I'm immortal and thousands of years old and eat people to survive I'm going to start a legend about myself...
