Same day.....

We ate our food then went shopping. I got a few things and Jay decided to buy me a few things. I told him he ain't have to buy me nothing but he insisted so, I let him. We were now at the Nike store checking out shoes.
"You see anything you like?" I asked sipping on my Frappé.
"Yeah but I already got 'em back at the house, imma just get a black pair of air force ones since I already got the white ones" he said sitting the shoe box next to where I was sitting.
"That's cool" I said looking at the shelf's of shoes.
He checked out a few more shoes and decided to also get two different pairs of Nike Air Huaraches. He got one that's colored cool grey,black,white and the latest one that's color designed Anthracite and Night Maroon.
Caleb finished picking out the shoes he wanted and we went to register to pay.
"You total is $325" the guy said putting the shoes in a Nike bag.
Caleb paid and we head out. We did a little bit more shopping then left.
"Aww shit" I yelled making Caleb jump while he was driving me home.
"Girl don't do that man, yo ass tryna kill us foreal" he said looking over at me.
"My bad, I just forgot I ain't get any actual school supplies like pencils and stuff for tomorrow"
"Oh, you wanna stop by Walmart or something"
"Yea, can we? Thanks" I said smiling
He nodded and passed my house to get to Walmart.
We got there and stacked up on pencils and random school stuff. I got pens, notebooks, binders, paper you know. After we paid Caleb dropped me off at home and help me put all my stuff in my room.
"Thanks dude" I said walking him to the door.
"No problem, you know I'd do anything for you ugly" he smiled
"Boy bye" I told him pushing him out
"I love you too" he laughed while walking over to his car
"Thanks again CJ" he smiled at me, got in his car and pulled off.
I closed my door and headed to my room to take a shower.
I got out of the shower and it was 8:30.
I put on my bra and underwear along with my soffe shorts with a t-shirt, then headed down stairs to get a snack since I wasn't too hungry for dinner.
"Hey Jada" my mom said pouring her self a cup of juice.
"Hey mom"
"How was your day" she asked me while putting the juice carton back in the fridge.
"It was good, I went shopping with CJ and we got some school supplies for tomorrow" I said walking over to the snack cabinet.
"Ooo that's nice" she cooed
"Yeah it was, how was yours" I grabbed two small packs of hot fries and a small pack of sour patch kids.
"It was great, I have great news" she said grinning
"What is it" I asked laughing at the face she was making.
"I got a job, It's a care giving agency. Basically I'll be helping the old folks at their homes doing whatever they need help with. I get paid depending on how much hours or days I work. "
"Are you serious. That's wonderful mom." I went over and hugged her.
"Thanks and I know. Now you don't have to worry about being in danger by me bringing these nasty dudes in our home. It won't happen again. With this job that I now have we will be able to get through what ever were going through alright." She said hugging me back
"Yes, mom I'm so proud of you"
"I am too, I though it would take forever for me to find a job" she sighed
"I know right, same here" I laughed pulling back from our hug
She laughed and went to wash her cup
"So you ready for school tomorrow?"
"Ha! no" I laughed opening up my chips
"Why not, it'll be fun" she said wiping her hands off. I know she didn't say school would be fun. Does she not know what school is. Ain't nothing fun about that shit.
"Mom, school is..........I don't even know how to explain it. It's more like torture at times." I said eating my chips
"Girl please, it ain't that bad"
"Imma let you think that mom" I shook my head at her.
She laughed at me and asked me if I had a boyfriend or a guy friend I was currently talking to. What the heck.
"Mom, you should know I'm not worried about no trifling lil boys." I giggled and rolled my eyes.
"Well that's good, but it's okay to have a little fun. I'm not saying to go fuck around with every niqqa you meet but you know have a little fun. And just in case you wondering I don't mean sex either. Your a senior you should be enjoying your self." She smiled at me then walked over to the living room and closed the Tv.
"I will mom, it's just these boys aggravating asf. You can't really trust any of them" I said looking down remembering a picture that I had seen of my dad holding me in my mom's room.
"That's true but nobody's perfect, just be a little more open" she walked over to me and lift my chin up.
"I'll think about it. I love you mom" I said hugging her tight
"I love you too sweetie, now go get some sleep. You got school tomorrow" she said walking over to the light switch turning the lights off down stairs.
"Your right, good night mom" I said heading up stairs to my room.
"Night, sleep well" I heard her yell back to me.
I got in my bed and turned on my radio. This radio used to be my grandpa's before he past away, he would always listen to his classics on it. Now when ever I go to sleep I always have it on playing in the background.
I finished up my snacks, turn of my lights and fell right asleep.
