13 - Hear Her Out

(Y/N Pov)

I just stayed in my room the next day and didn't bother opening the doors, and I continued to be like this for 2 more days, I assigned Antarius to be the Acting Commander of the Battalion and to train the Korean trainees

I didn't bother to talk to anyone, Antarius and the others did knock on my door from time to time but I just told them to go away

(Azila Ventarius Pov [a.k.a. Y/N mom])

"Excuse me do you know where Y/N is?" I ask a young man and tapped his shoulder

"Sorry?" He turns around to face me

"Antarius!?" I yell, my hand covering my mouth

"My Queen!" Antarius gives me a salute

"Oh come on Son, we are too close for Formalities," I said while patting his back

"Wh-what are you doing here aunt Azila?" he asks me, I smiled when he called me aunt

It wasn't too long ago when these kids used to play at the Royal Terrace, I remember when his mother and I would drink some tea and watch the kids play

"I'm looking for Y/N, have you seen him?" I ask as I remember what I came here for

"Oh, about Y/N... He's not really in a good mood for the past 3 days, he's not talked or let anyone enter his room since" he replied

I was shocked because normally Y/N isn't the type of person to do that, I know because he's my son after all, and after raising him for 20 years, yes 20 years he was still dependent on us that time until he got promoted to Admiral

And of all those 20 years of raising him, I have never seen him like this

"Antarius could you take me to his room," I ask Antarius

"of course" he answered and leads the way to Y/N's room

Antarius Pointed at the door to Y/N's room, I knocked but no one answered

"Y/N?... Son are you in there?" I said

(Y/N Pov)

I was laying down on my bed when suddenly someone started to knock on the door

I didn't bother to ask who it was and just closed my Eyes

But suddenly someone spoke

"Y/N?... Son are you in there?" I hear my mom's voice

I jump out of my bed and slowly walked towards the door

"Mom? Is that you?" I ask the person standing in front of the door while looking at the peephole

"Y/N!" she exclaimed

"Are you alright in there?" she asks

"I'm alright mom but what are you doing here?" I ask her

"I came to check on you, could you let me in son," she asks

"alright" I answered

As I open the door there she was standing in front with her arms wide open

I embraced my mom as if we haven't seen each other for a long time, then my tears started to come out

"What's wrong Son? Why are you crying?" she notices me crying but I didn't answer her

"Come on Y/N you can tell me" she insisted I tell her what has been going on with my life, I'm hesitant to say it though

I sighed and eventually told her everything that happened from the beginning
