B: what but your only 7 months. It's... too early

SL: yes but I can't do anything about this can I but what do we do the hospital is an hour away Ivy is dead asleep ur mom went home today

BL: let me call my mom and you call the hospital ok

BILLIE ON THE PHONE W MAGGIE:

B: Mom hey sorry to wake you up but Selena's water broke and we are freaking out because the hospital is an hour away we can't wake up Ivy because if we do once we come back w the new baby we will struggle too but Ivy to sleep and the baby

M: Billie Billie calm down I will get Finneas to drive me over there right now I will be there in 20 minutes ok just stay Poot ok

SL: what did Maggie say?

BL: she will be here in a 20 minutes n to stay Poot
But what the hospital say

Sl: they told me to stay home until my contractions are at least less than 5-3 minutes apart

I went downstairs really quick to get Selena some water and I caved and got myself some takis. I went back upstairs to see Selena in the closet trying to get the bags ready.

BL: it's ok I got this lay down and relax and I will pack for you me and this little one ok just relax.

SL: ok

I walked her back back to the bed slowly as we got the the bed. She sat down and drank some water and I put some pillows so her head was Elevated I went back to packing some clothes.

I heard the doorbell ring and I ran downstairs to see it was my mom and dad and Finneas and Claudia Zoe, "Damm this lady fr told everyone".

I opened the door and I let everyone in with a hug.

Zoe: where's Selena?

BL: she's upstairs lying down 

Drew: oh ok

They went to sit done when I heard some faint crying I went upstairs to Ivy's room, she was crying for her mommy.

IV: Mommy MOMMY

BL: ok ok we will go to Mommy

We Walk to the room Selena is in and I see her holding her stomach and breathing heavily.

BL: are you ok?

SL: yeah it's just a contraction I'll be fine but what is this stinky girl doing up at this time

BL: she was crying for her mommy

SL: is that so, anyways but who's here

BL: my mom and my dad fin Claudia and Zoe

SL: omg how many people did u tell Billie

BL; only my mom but yk how she is

We both laughed as another contraction hit her this time Ivy was in her hands so she just lay her down next to her as it went away. This time we thought it would be a good idea to start the car. I walked down with the bags

BL: can you guys help me get the car ready so we can go to the hospital?

EVERYONE: what you need help with

BL: so I need you to get blankets and snacks and lots and lots of water and extra bags, please.

Everyone: Alright

Me and Selena got in the car as Fin and Claudia came behind in their car. Selena's contractions are 5 apart so I put my foot more on the grass.

B: hold on baby

S: Billie slow down pleas

I ignored her and kept going at the same speed. Once we arrived at the hospital I made everyone get a bag of things we brought as I helped Selena walk inside, it was one of those hospitals that have those 20-foot parking lot and we had to walk on the stairs.
Once we got in I found a wheelchair and she sat down I can't tell if she was happy and relieved about the wheelchair I can't image how hard it must've hurt walking down the stairs.

We have been In the hospital for 10 hours and the doctors are getting everything ready for our baby to come to this world. I'm so excited

Selena's pov*

D: All alright Selena are u ready

S: yeah I'm ready

D: ok start pushing

I wrapped my hands around the bars of the bed and started pushing.

S: fuxkkkkkk

I said mid-push

It's been about 3 minutes and I was still pushing as hard as I could push the heavenly organs out of me I'm joking.

But I was so tired I swear this baby was fighting to stay in, all u could see was the head as Billie said.

After an hour and a half, she was born. My beautiful baby girl, but she didn't cry, I waited for a cry nothing, the doctors took her away before I could even see her. All I can think of is what if it's my fault she dies? I didn't push hard enough? all the stress I had during this pregnancy.

The room got dark as I was panicking Billie ran to confront me as tears were running down my face thinking I was a horrible failure I failed my baby nothing in this world could replace how much I wanted to hear her little cry.

The doctors took about 30 minutes after the doctor came into the room. I did get to calm down because I thought the reason they were taking so long was because she was alive and needed special attention.
Billie had FaceTime her mom who was in the waiting room with Zoe and her dad.

DOC: Selena?

SL: yes 

Doc: your daughter wasn't producing much oxygen through the pregnancy and that caused her a lot of difficulties breathing, we did everything we could but your daughter didn't make it.

As words kept coming out of his mouth it went silent I was paralyzed.

Is this a joke?

Is this doctor playing with me?

It all hit me fast. my baby was gone. I started screaming, Billie dropped her phone, and she just stood there for a minute before dropping down on her knees.

How could this happen to me? This wasn't supposed to happen. Ivy Billie me and this new baby were supposed to be the dream family.

Why me? Why did this happen to my baby? Haven't I been through enough?
