Episode 1.3 Against

Yoon Hee walking up the stairs going to her home.

"I'm home." Ro Na said shockingly saw her mother waiting

"Your math teacher called. You haven't been there in months. You bought this with what I make talking until I cough up blood? When did you start lying to me?" Yoon Hee said pertains the music lessons on the table.

"Mom, I......"

"I told you! You can't sing." Then she scrambles and tears apart the pages of the music lessons.

"I will sing. I want to be a classical singer! Why can't I? Why won't you let me? Why?" Ro Na said angrily

"You're smart. Just study. If you hate cram school, I'll find you a tutor. Why do you want to sing when you can be a lawyer or a judge? Can't you tell by looking at me? You need licenses to make a living! You can't sing." Yoon Hee replied angrily too

"You never heard me sing."

"Singing isn't for just anyone!"

"I'm good at it! I'm confident. Why are you so against this? Your daughter wants this more than death. She's mad about singing! Why are you going to such lengths to stop her?" Ro Na said angrily as Yoon Hee continues to tear apart those music lessons.

"Come on. Don't do this. Don't! Let go!" Ro Na stops her mother to do it while crying.

"Whatever. I memorized it all anyway."

"What?"

"Mozart's 'The Magic Flute' 'Queen of the Night aria'." Ro Na said as she sang gracefully then Yoon Hee remembers how she sang on the stage many years ago then the audiences made of applause during 25TH CHEONG AH ART FESTIVAL. She cries in front of her duaghter remembering those moments.

"If you say once more that you want to sing, then I'll die right in front of you. You can sing over my dead body. Not until then. Do you understand?" Yoon Hee said as she went to her room.

Ro Na taking down the upstairs to go to school. Yoon Hee drinks a cup of coffee as she saw a letter.

"Whatever you say. I will sing." Ro Na's letter then Yoon Hee touches her neck feeling frustrated.
