My Mistake - RW

I decided to make one as Yn being deaf as you don't see many stories like that.

Ron was in the library looking for a book Hermione had asked for as he was scrolling the shelves he saw a girl a fairly pretty girl might I add reading the exact book he needed. Ron went up behind her tapping her lightly.

The girl turned around to look at Ron a Face of confusion. "May I please have that book a friend of mine really need it" Ron said slightly blushing at the amount of eye contact the two made. But to Ron surprise the girl just raised an eye brow and went to reach for a piece of paper and pen.

Ron being the impatient person his is just rolled his eyes and walked away not bothering to see what the girl had written. Ron walked to the great hall for lunch still wishing that the pretty girl would have just given up the book.

"Ron where's the book?" Hermione asked as Ron slouched into his seat. "This girl had it and then she ignored me when I asked for it and she started writing something so I walked away" Ron said rolling his eyes. Ginny had heard this from down the table. " What colour hair did she have?" Ginny asked, " She had
y/h/c " Ron replied causing Ginny and Hermione to look at each other and laugh.

"What is it?" Ron said looking at Harry who also had a confused look. "That's Yn Y/L/N" Hermione and Ginny said. "So?" Ron said still confused. " So the reason she didn't respond to you little brother is because she's deaf" George said butting into the conversation.

Ron's jaw fell open "What I just embarrassed myself in front of her she was pretty to" Ron said whining. "Well maybe bows your chance to make up for it" Hermione said nodding towards you as you entered the hall. Ron grabbed his note book and Hermione pen and rushed over to you.

" Hi I'm sorry about earlier I didn't know you were deaf I'm Ron Weasley by the way" Ron wrote and turned it to you. You smiled " It's fine I was about to give you the book and ask you to bring it back later but you walked away" you spoke. " you can speak " Ron wrote down. "Mhm I can read lips to!" You said smiling.

After that Ron was determined to get to know you more he slowly got used to the whole non hearing thing although he would slip up sometimes but Ron had to admit he was attracted to you and after a couple months he finally decided to ask you out.

He had asked  Hermione teach him how to say " Will you be my girlfriend" in sign language which after some bribing she finally taught him how.

You were studying with Ron in the Library when he tapped on your shoulder you look up seeing his red flustered face "What's wrong Ron?" You asked with a hint of concern laced in your voice. " Will you be my girlfriend " Ron signed horribly you raised and eye brow unable to understand.

Ron felt so embarrassed the poor boy started sweating he looked behind him where Hermione and Harry were laughing at him. "Will.You.be.my.girlfriend" he signed a bit better this time.

It took you but to process but once you realised what he had signed you look up at him smiling "yes" you said making Ron smile from ear to ear.
