🌲Dippers POV🌲
As we were walking towards they're living situation, Jake, Finn and I stumbled across some... Purple lump? I dunno but it was really annoying.
"Ohmygodd hi Finnnn!" The lump said.
"*sigh* Hi LSP. Dipper, this is Lumpy Space Princess. LSP, this is Dipper." Finn said
I stick out my hand so I can shake it with her, but she just looks at me and winks with a kissy face. I don't know what that means, but I'll assume that is how she greets people.
"Um, okay. C'mon Dipper we're almost to the carriage." Jake said, saving me from the awkward situation.
We walk a bit longer, and I realize that I'm probably in the future of my own time, because I can see remnants of stores and cars that I recognize.
"Woah, is that a WcDonalds? Seriously, what year is it? It looks really dilapidated." I point out.
"You know that place? We assumed it was from before the Mushroom War." Jake said.
"Mushroom War? Please explain." I ask.
"Well, we can talk about it at the carriage?" Jake replied.
"Well, okay." I said begrudgingly.
🕑Time Skip🕚
When we got there, I noticed a very vital fact. The 'carriage'... was a van.
"Guys.. guys that's a van, not a carriage." I say, trying to hold in my laughter.
"What's a vahn?" Finn said, obviously saying it incorrectly.
"A van is a type of vehicle. It can hold multiple people, or can transport shipments. For example, a van can either take people to school or take some textbooks to an office." I explain, trying to get them to understand.
"Textbooks?" Finn asks.
"School?" Jake.. also asks.
"Oh right.. this is a dystopian wasteland kind of world." I say, pinching my eyebrow in frustration.
"Whatevs, we'll just call it... 'The Vahn!' In honor of meeting you of course." Finn said.
Before I could respond, I heard a crackling coming from my inner vest pocket.
"D--PER! -OM- -N! C-DE Y--L--! CODE YELLOW! HE'S BACK, DIPPER WE NEED YOU BACK NOW DIP-" The walkie-talkie cut out. The only noise coming from it was static.. and a faint overtone of maniacal laughter.
I look at the walkie-talkie in horror..
Code yellow meant that..
Bill was back.
