Chapther 16

Ryley's POV

After I wrapped up my part of photoshoot for mine and Malakai's collab , Malakai gave me and Renee greenlight to go do the interview for her podcast. I was excited to do it because it would my first ever interview which I would do as a wrestler and not just as an actress.

Also, this would be my first interview as a married woman, which added extra fun to the interview. Renee's studio was very beautful. It was located in the city center and in good neigborhood, which was surounded by two parks, as well as shit ton of coffee houses, which I loved.

The interiour of Renee's studio was very clean and focused on light sandy, as well as red tones. There was two microphones and chairs, as well as monitors and big table. I looked around as Renee set up the recording and asked me ''So am I really your first interview after your debut and wedding?''

''Yep''I chuckled nervously and she gently patted my shoulder saying ''I will be gentle''.

''Cool'' I murmrued trying to relax and then she motioned me to get comfortable before saying ''Its time, we are live''.

I nodded as she said ''We are back with newest memeber of FTR and The Pinacle, who is also accomplished actress among many other things Mrs Ryley Wheeler''.

''Hey, well done on annoucing my resume'' I murmured and she said ''How is working with your husband and his best friend, lets start with that''.

I took a sip of water and replied ''Can I cuss on this interview?''

I was nervous about her response and her going off on me but instead she replied hapily ''Absolutlely'' and I grinned replying ''Fucking phenomnenal, I will talk about more later but I can say that I love working with them''.

I finally relaxed and she replied ''I understand how it is working with a partner, I met my husband through my work'' and I smiled . I realised that with Renee I can be at ease and I have nothing to worry about.

Basically, I could consider this interview my theraphy where I let out my past in order to move on in peace. Renee then leaned in and asked ''How did you decided to become wrestler actually because you told me at get together but many people might not know this story, so I wonder if you wanna share it?''.

I nodded and replied ''I wanted to be a wrestler ever since I was a little kid. I started with  karate , which I still say till this day help me when I am in the ring and also helped me to be a fast learner''

''Nice, I did not knew you have background in karate . That is super cool.'' Renee murmured and I nodded replying''I do have a background and I even have the highest honor so I can even teach people this sport if my heart desires. I did karate and as soon as I was able to sign up for wrestling school, I said to my mom look, it might not me exactly what you imagined but let me try and if I fail lets move on to other things. She agreed and said alright and I signed up, which also meant I had to go through tryouts''.

''Whoa, that is so cool'' Renee exlaimed and I nodded adding''Yes, because the one who was coach he wanted to make sure person is all in and not a person, who is doing things half-ass thus dranging the team down. It might sound harsh but in combat sports and many other sports or creative outlet , you cannot go in half-ass because you will fail if you are half-ass in''.

She nodded in agreement ''Then I got accepted on the spot, my then -coach Mister Peters was wowed by my skils and I decided I started training and I took a break from karate but then I injured my knee during summer break pretty badly thus my mom pulled me out because she said ''It makes me nervous and as soon as you are healed you can return to karate'' and I knew she just wanted for me to be okay. But, now she is my biggest cheerleader and wears my merch proudly, same can be said about my dad. They both understand, hey I am in good hands and Jared, who is basically adoptive Tedder has been the best coach ever making sure I am okay''.
