𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 Hawthorne was a house that stood for nobility and loyalty. So it was said in the history books. For decades, their claim as Royalty in Westeros remained solidified until it was challenged during the Dance of the Dragons. War has always brewed underneath the peaceful farce, it lingers underground and will always find its way to resurface, wrecking havoc amongst Seven Kingdoms. There will never be peace, so long as many lay claim to their entitlements, so long as there lives a viper amongs the bushes.
Twins were born in the most harshest storms. It was said they were cursed, bringing a bad omen to the people around them forever and more, until their last dying breath. Due to this, the rumoured curse soon died when Princess Ariyanna of House Hawthorne appeared to be the sweetest and gentle of her family, a splitting image of her deceased mother. Some claim she was her mother reincarnated, the folks people had always loved her as a child, preferred her over the Prince of the Isles, her father, even more so than her own twin brother.
Lairestone is the island people live wherein no harm will do them good. A fortress promised with a well guarded life for their families, home of the Hawthorne soldiers and fleet, prepared for any upcoming battle so long as they are commanded by their ruler. It has always remainded that way since the moment the Island was founded by Elysean Hawthorne and his son, as stated in the books. There might not always be a Hawthorne guarding its Dragon throne, but there will always be a Hawthorne guarding its virtue and claim.
And soon, when the tides shift and Ariyanna's brother claim he did not want to be heir, the responsibilities will soon fall to her shoulders.
