The bossy one

Y/N was still shaking from what had just happened. Did this fox puppet just come out of her television for real?!

"T-Tails Doll?..."

She stuttered quietly, trying not to sound offensive by the way she said its name. It looked in her direction after dusting itself off, as if it could feel her disgust. It didn't look amused.

"That is what I said."

It responded as it figured just by the look in her eyes that she had even more possibly offending questions. Sensing the shots coming, the doll rolled its dark eyes, and if it had a mouth, it would've sighed.

"Before you ask, yes. You are in the presence of a talking doll that just came out of your TV after five chapters of waiting! I'm a guy, and I was based off of the one everyone calls Miles Tails Prower. Does that answer most of your questions?"

She didn't answer back, still under shock and fearing that if she tried saying anything, he would get mad. The silence ruled over the two for a while, her lack of words being either taken positively for a response, or negatively. The doll didn't seem to have a very optimistic mind.

"Seriously ?..."

"Uh... Yes! Yes. It explains and settles most of my questions. Thank you for clearing things out!" She abruptly spoke out loud as an attempt to hide her nervousness, since she did learn in class that animals do tend to sense fear in a human and would take advantage of it if they would get the chance. Must be the same with this guy, right?

He seemed surprised by Y/N's sudden reaction, but only focused on the reply.

"Good. Last thing I need to do is to waste my non-existent saliva on telling you my entire biography."

Oh, so you're the sarcastic type... Noted. Y/N told herself, already adjusting to him thanks to his attitude telling her what kind of personality he has. She actually couldn't help but feel a little irritated by the way he spoke to her. Just because she left him hanging in that disc for several weeks?

She didn't know about that.

For sure, she had had many warnings and hints that something was off with the object, but how could she have guessed there was a living doll trapped inside wanting nothing else but to get out? Couldn't he be a little nicer to her? Would it kill him?

No? Then, he might understand who the boss is, in this room. And it surely wouldn't be a midget.

Yes? Then, less trouble for her.

Though, to sound friendly, she proceeded to ask him what she hoped he would answer with a rather reassuring reply.

"Why are you here?"

"Eh... Nothing too big. I'm just here to... 'look around'..."

Like that gave a clear answer.

                                     ~...~...~...~...~...~...~

Y/N spent the entire weekend with Tails Doll. She was expecting to have a hard time handling him, especially when he got curious and wanted to exit her room, running the risk of being seen by Y/N' s parents, but surprisingly enough, despite his rare curiosity, he turned out to be quite tolerable and obedient. The teenage girl found herself warming up to this little doll. At times, she could feel her horror-story knowledge senses tingling. She knew she had to be aware and careful when around the small being. Him being like a good dog didn't stop the fact he came out of her monitor after going through some serious bloodlust.

The three-day long weekend had come to an end, and Y/N had to go back to school, while her parents went back to work. There was only Y/N's guest who didn't have anything to do. He wasn't human, so there wasn't much he could do in this world except staying hidden in the girl's room, under her orders, which he wasn't pleased with.
