The venue filled up pretty quickly. Girls were crowded around me as I stood up near the stage. Thankfully there were no designated seats with the tickets. It was just a free for all, so I guess it was a pretty small act. I tried looking around for Changbin but didn't see him anywhere.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! Is this your first time seeing them?" Some girl asked from beside me. I didn't realize she was speaking to me until I felt her eyes burning a hole into my head.

"Oh, um yea. My friend invited me but I don't know where he is. I know nothing about who's playing," I let out a soft chuckle to the girl who was bursting with energy.

"You're gonna love it!" Almost as if on cue, the venue went pitch black. Screams echoed through the walls as a group of boys ran out on stage. You could just barely see their silhouettes until the lights suddenly turned on, strobes flying through the room. The group of boys were all standing with their backs to the crowd. From what I could see, it was a good-looking group.

Music blared through the speakers and subwoofers. The boys began to dance and it was now I realized that they were all dressed in the exact same outfit Seo was wearing earlier. I watched and danced a little bit with the girls around me.

A few songs go by and a boy comes on the catwalk in front of me. As he turned towards me, his face instantly shocked me. Changbin. He invited me to his concert. And secondly, he's in a K-pop group? I was so confused.

"This is our last song, thank you all for coming out tonight." He spoke to the crowd before the music began.

I waited for it to end and waited a bit longer after the concert to leave. I hoped I would find Changbin and be able to pull him to the side, but he was nowhere to be found. So I headed home, deciding it was time for bed.

L.A class began and I pulled my headphones down, noticing Changbin enter the class.

"Damn, you're living two lives, glasses boy."

He walked past me and sat in his seat, which coincidentally was behind me today.

"Did you like the show?" He asked, placing his bag on the floor and taking out his binder.

"It was... cool," I shrugged, not quite knowing what to say. I turned back to my notebook and pulled my headphones over my ears. If I planned on graduating in 8 weeks I had to grind through these classes. My marks were pretty good, but I was still stressed about my grades and school work. If I wanted to go back to California, I had to focus on school for just a little longer.

My short story was almost finished. I was honestly nervous to share it with my teacher. I had just moved here and was expected to share my life story through imagination with my teacher. I focused on every detail while adding a few imaginative pieces every now and then.

The story was about a fox, whose parents were a fox and coyote. While the coyote was barely around because his pack didn't know about his secret life, the mother fox was always by her baby's side.

A hand pokes my shoulder and I turn around to Changbin.

"Wanna have lunch with me?" He asks quietly so he doesn't disrupt the class. I nod slowly, watching his smile grow. I smile gently at him before continuing my writing.

My classes before went lunch went pretty well and before I knew it I was heading out to meet Changbin. He asked if he could meet me outside the front doors and I agreed. I leaned against the hood and scrolled through Instagram waiting for the boy.

Once he walked out of the school he told me to follow him. We began walking down the streets.

"Right here," I groaned as the boy lead me to a cement barrier. I walked beside him until realizing he didn't just bring me to a random place, we were at a hilltop viewpoint over looking Seoul.

"How romantic," I blurt out while sitting on the barrier. I look at Changbin and he's blushing. I giggle lightly.

"So um, what brought you to Korea?" He played with a string on his jeans, avoiding eye contact.

"My dad's from here, well, and Japan. I guess his dad needs him so we moved from California."

"Wow, so you're Korean, Japanese, and American?" He finally made eye contact with me and his face showed all signs of amazement. I nodded my head.

"Yea, so how come the other boys from your band aren't in our school? I've never seen them,"

"Oh, when we started I was already in high school so I chose the stay. There are 5 boys younger than me that chose to study at the company so they can focus more on music. And the 2 older ones well, they've already graduated obviously." Changbin smiled at the end and clapped his hands on his thighs. "Ok my turn, what are your hobbies?"

"Archery, art, and I used to box in California but I haven't gone to a gym here yet. I also used to play around with katanas because I was obsessed with my dad's collection," I state before looking out at the view. When I look back at Changbin he seems confused.

"Are you mentally ill? I mean you choose to play with weapons."

"Probably," we both burst out into laughter at my remark before falling silent and gazing out at the city.

"What do you plan on doing after graduation?" His voice breaks the silence.

"Going back to California, I'm a really sociable person, and being lonely all the time sucks. I need my friends back,"

"But what about me? We're friends right?" His eyes filled with hurt, it was hard not to hug him and tell him everything will be alright.

So instead, I took a ring off the boy's hand and put it on my middle finger. "Now we are, and now that I've stolen your ring, you can't take back our friendship. You're stuck with me."

Changbin smiled and gazed away, thinking. My stomach knotted, fuck he probably thinks I'm weird now. I don't know what made me take his ring but it just felt right.

But just as I'm just about to remove the ring and give it back to him, he turns back to me, smiling again.

"And you're stuck with me."
