Mika's P. O. V:

A few days later, I find myself waking up in my boyfriend's arms, the sunlight hitting his face.

I gaze at him, seeing how content Giyu looks in his sleep.

Sometimes Giyu would spend the night at my place and he'd said the first night he'd slept here was the best sleep he'd had in a long time. The morning after the trial, we'd had breakfast with Shinobu and Kanao Tsuyuri, her Tsukugo. Which is a Hashira in training.

On our way out, Nezuko had run up to me and hugged me, like a daughter would their mother. I'd been shocked at first, but then Tanjiro had explained she acted like that because of a hypnosis spell Sakonji Urokodaki placed on her to make Nezuko see everyone as her family.

I'd then hugged the life out of the girl before Tanjiro took Nezuko back to her room.

Since he'd heard me laugh that day during the trial, Giyu has asked me to keep laughing and smiling, no matter what, as he likes the sound of my laughter.

So I'm going to try. For him.

I watch as sunlight hits Giyu's face, his bangs sliding across his face. I gently caress them back, my fingers lightly grazing his cheek.

"See something you like?" I start at Giyu's question and jerk my gaze down to see he's already awake, and smiling at me.

"G-Giyu-kun," I stutter in surprise as I feel myself blushing. "I... I didn't mean to stare."

"Really? Then how come you're blushing?" Giyu teases. I blush deeper. He grins before pushing me down on the bed and hovering over me.

Giyu then proceeds to kiss me, gently at first, but then his kisses turn eager, and so do mine. I cup the back of Giyu's head to pull him closer and deepen the kiss.

I shudder when I feel Giyu's life his hands under my night kimono and gently rub my sides, then over my stomach. We keep kissing as Giyu eagerly roams my body with his hands.

I tug at Giyu's black hair which causes him to let out a soft growl. He actually likes it when I tug his hair like that, so I do it again and earn another growl from the Water Hashira, this time deeper.

We kiss for a longer time, neither of us wanting to pull away, when:

"Caw! Caw!" Giyu and I jerk apart out of fright at the sound of my kusagai crow calling me from my window. She taps it with her beak, urging me to get up. I scowl and Giyu moves off me reluctantly to allow me to get up and walk over to my window. I open it and Amaya gives me the message. "Caw, caw! Mika! You have to meet up at Oyakata-sama's with Kyojurou Rengoku for a mission! You have a mission together! Caw, caw!"

I look at Giyu out of surprise before I give my crow a treat and she flaps away.

"But I have to feed Akuma and Yuki, and let Yuki out into the paddock..." I begin, as Giyu gets off the bed and steps up to me. He places his hands gently on my shoulders, silencing me.

Giyu offers, "You get ready for your mission with Rengoku. I'll take care of Akuma and Yuki."

"Are you sure?" I ask, tilting my head slightly.

The Tomioka nods his head as he says assuringly, "I'm sure. I've seen how you feed Yuki before, so I can do it."

"Well... okay," I say.

Giyu grips my chin to make me look at him and he presses his lips to mine. I return the kiss deeply, feeling fire coursing through my veins.

Giyu pulls back after what feels like an eternity and says as he caresses my cheek, "Go. I'll be there to see you off."
