Y/n is seen wearing a short sleeve shirt, and brown sweat pants, sitting on a wooden stump in the middle of a forest with blankets of snow all around him.

Y/n shook slightly as he held a Knife and a spear. Using the knife to sharpen the spear.

"Come on..." Y/n said silently, unable to get it the way he wanted it.

"You're Struggling." A voice suddenly said behind Y/n, causing him to look back quickly.

The man behind y/n was seen wearing a large black robe that dragged on the floor behind him, a black large shirt, and large black Sweatpants. and he had his hood over his head. His face was concealed with shadows. He was muscular and tall. At least 7 feet. And easily started down at y/n.

"D-Dad! I got this I swear-" y/n was cut off when his dad put a hand up and he immediately stopped talking.

"Give me your spear." He demanded as he held out his hand.

"I... I'm sorry." Y/n stated quietly as he handed the much larger man the spear.

The man examined the spear tip to the bottom. After a second or two, he nodded his head in approval.

"It's good looking. Now let's test its sharpness." The man said as he put the tip of the spear at eye level.

He used his pointer finger and slowly brought it down.

He stopped on the tip of the spear, and just held it there.

The man grew an irritated look before he pulled his finger off the tip and then looked over at y/n.

Y/n had his head down, eyes closed, and stood up straight, barely reaching his father's covered belly button.

The larger man snapped the spear like a twig and y/n slightly flinched back.

"Do it again." His father said as he threw the spear to the side.

"But I've been here for six hour-" y/n started before his father cut him off.

"Do it, AGAIN." He said as he crossed his arms and looked down at y/n.

"But...Yes, father." Y/n said as he nodded his head.

"Too many people count on you to be a protector. You can't make weapons that aren't sharp enough to pierce the skin with a simple soft touch." His father said as he turned his back to y/n.

"You'll stay here all night if you have to. But you will finish this spear. And you will protect these people." His father said as he slowly walked away.

"Yes, father..." Y/n said as he turned to go and find more things to make his spear.

Slowly, we look back towards the broken spear, where wood chips spell out a single word.

Kipo

Y/n opened his eyes when a roar went off in the distance. He slowly sat up when he suddenly notices a wet spot on his back.

Turning his head, he finds kipo, who has her arms wrapped around y/ns stomach loosely and is slightly slobbering on him.

Y/n just stares blankly at her for a few seconds, before he sighs and stands up. Waking up kipo in the process.

"Huh-? Wha-?" Kipo asks as she looks around tiredly.

"It's never good to sleep for too long on the surface. Not moving is an easy mark for mutes." Y/n said as he stretched himself out. Sleeping on concrete isn't very good for the back.

"Oh..." Kipo said before she fell forward slightly.

She caught herself with her arms, but then slowly let herself lay back down. Easily falling asleep again.
