Amongst the dust, lack of light and bad jokes the only that made the 'Grave yard' spectacular was the atmosphere, mood, surprisingly familiar feelings and the lack of dead people coming to haunt us. Whilst Ryan and Lyla were outside enjoying the view off the roof I decided to explore the almost empty, abandoned rooms.

I searched for a light switch amongst the rooms, mentally begging for one as I groaned at the lack of one. I walk into the next room and search as I instinctively cross my fingers in hopes. "Come on, come on!" I practically yell until I reach a light switch. "Yes!" I flick it on and watch as the light slowly flicks on alluminating the room.

"Ah!" I scream as I fall back. What the fuck is that!? I gulp as I stand and dust myself off. I look at the unexpected scenary before me. Fucking hanging dolls, seriously!? My lord. I sort of thought it was real skin for a moment. I take a walking cane someone left behind and poke the hanging baby doll before me, my face strunching up as it swings back to me. I hadn't noticed it before but this room seemed to be a patient's before. The dolls' were covered in blood smiles internally scaring the shit out of me. I hear running behind me and turn to push against the wall near the corner as I stand holding the cane in a ready-to-attack stance.

The first thing I see I swing at and hear the most loud yell.

"Fucking hell that hurt!" I see Ryan hold his nose as he gets up from the cold hospital like floors. God my actions are going to get me killed one day. I feel my eyes widen as Lyla turns the corner and stares from Ryan, to the patient's old room. "Kirk? What happened to this shitty fucking room!?" He yells in anger and I have to use everything in me to hold back from cracking and laughing.

"Sorry, I was exploring and these gave me a fright so I didnt expect you guys..." I drop the cane and rub my arm apologetically. "This is quite strange is it not? Everything's gone besides the stuff in this room." I explain and walk upto the rotting beside which had a paper. I try to pull it off but it rips in my hands. "Fuck!" I groan and read as much as I can.

The first name of this person is torn however I can barely make out what seems to be 'Paulson' for their surname. Below reads a mental illness diagnosis. This place used to be a mental asylum huh? Sick. 'Mental illness diagnosis - obvious sypmtoms pushing towards schizophrenia, feeling helplessly stuck in the past, trauma, headaches after mental breakdowns, keeps complaining about the 'Happy Pills' which we perscribed 'Prozac' for her depression. treatment - shock therapy, therapy and heavy medication.' I feel my eyes widen deeply at the words before my eyes. Shock therapy? No way that's a thing...

"Hey guys... What the fuck is shock therapy?" I ask seriously as I turn to face the other two he seems to be searching for stuff. I see Lyla trying to save a drenched letter from a puddle of some liquid with the cane as Ryan searches for who knows what.

"Uh its where they like uh..." Ryan trails off and I roll my eyes knowing damn well he doesn't have a clue on what it could even be. Lyla scoffs and speaks. His eyes suddenly light up as he thinks of something. "Isn't that the thingie they used in requiem for a dream?" He grins thinking he's amazing for remembering that but he slept through the rest I chuckle softly. "What its true!" He informs us with a pout.

"Shock therapy is a treatment to help the patient if they suffer from detachment from reality, depression, refusal to eat or urged to commit suicide. Usually the patient doesnt feel pain as they are asleep however I have heard cases for patients being awake and feeling everything." Lyla makes a small explanation and I nod but Ryan looks confused more than ever. "Ryan explanation, shock therapy strives to help you out mentally," She explains with a smile. Wow she seems extremely into this. She would be an amazing therapist, psychologist or doctor.

"Ah, I see..." He nods finally understanding. "So the patient went through it?" He questions and I nod.

"Yeah, it says she did. For depression and related mental illnesses I'm guessing." I shrug. Suddenly a shiver ran up my spine, a presence if you will. Something telling me we shouldn't be here. This all happened as Ryan opened the closet's door... I gulp as he pauses for a second before acting like nothing happened. It made Lyla and I throw looks at each other before resolving the situation by of course, ignoring the whole Ryan pausing. Like uncovering this person's truth would get us killed. I chuckle at the thought I'll keep that for my stories. I just forcefully shove the thought down as I turn around. I see the others leave to go back to the roof so I follow after them putting the letter in my pocket to read later.

We get the the stairs that lead to the rooftop door which is broken off. I work over the fallen door and sit beside Ryan on the edge. I pull out a cigarette and light it taking a drag as I inhale and exhale. I just sit and enjoy the surprisingly comforting view before me. "Wow." I say out loud.

"I know right? It's beautiful..." Ryan calmly states finally looking somewhat peaceful instead of energetic as he usually does. I soon finish the cigarette and put it out placing it in my pocket so I dont litter. I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere up here anyways. "You know how you said you wanted to just scream before?" Ryan brings up and I nod slowly not seeing what he's getting at. "Well do it now, no one will hear its too up and far from houses." He smiles genuinely. I gulp nervously before looking forward and shutting my eyes. I open my mouth and breathe in sharply before screaming as loud as I possibly can not caring that I sound hurt. The pain in my voice was evident but it was pain I had lived with for many years.

"That looks fun I want a turn!" Ryan grinned earning a nod from Lyla. He usually can't make too much noise when he's home so this is great for him to just stop and let it all out. He shuts his eyes tightly like a child who saw something he wasn't meant to see and screams his lungs out. There's a moment of silence between us before Lyla screams without warning making us flinch slightly.

"Wow, we need to come here often..." I smile before resting my eyes slightly. I check my watch and frown slightly. 4:23PM. Shit Aunt Nina will be expecting me, I shrug softly as I get up. "I think we should all get home, my aunt will kill me..." I chuckle softly and the other two softly nod agreeing. We make our way out the door of the rooftop entrance and down the stairs to the doors of the original entrance. I catch something in the corner of my eyes that I can't seem to brush off. I let my eyes scan the area before I hear my name called. I just shrug and run off to catch up with Ryan and Lyla. We get in the car and Ryan starts driving.
