Baby Avengers

Movie night

Natasha's POV:

"Hello, baby." I smile at him and I pick him up. Steve and Bucky also smiled at him before continuing on with whatever they were building. Pietro hugs me gently and places his head on my shoulder, "By the way hunny, just call me Nat." I smile and he lifts his head up before smiling back at me.

Wanda whines and puts her arms up. I smile and sit Pietro down beside her and kiss the top of her head. I sit the toys on the side and get back in to position. "Ready to continue?" I ask them. They both nod and we picked up from where we left of.

5 minutes later, me, the two boys and the the twins had gone down and met the others for family movie night.

We all sat down on the couch. Pietro kept talking to us. He was also smiling. A lot. I'm glad he warmed up to us.

No one's POV:

All the Avengers we're looking at Pietro, joining in on the conversations while Steve set up the film. Wanda sat in the corner of the couch looking out the window. Sure she was happy her brother got comfortable around them to start talking, unlike her, however she felt like.. like they are gonna treat her differently. Leave her alone or only care for her brother.

Here is the thing. The twins always knew how to talk. They were actually born with their powers which enabled them to talk but not full sentences (that would change overtime of course). The twins parents had the roughly the same powers as the two twins. The parents wanted normal kids so when the children had powers, they sold them to HYDRA. None of the Avengers know about this.

When the twins are alone (which was very rare) they would talk to each other through words. However, they were scared and nervous to talk around the Avengers, hence the reason they only whispered or said nothing. But now that Pietro is talking, Wanda can't help but feel she'll be left behind.

Wanda got jealous.. only a little. She whined a little to hopefully try and get someone's attention. But no one did. They all remained holding a conversation with her brother.

Wanda didn't want to be there anymore, so she slipped of the couch and toddled away to the stairs. No one noticed well all except Bucky and Steve. Those two saw the young girl walk away. The two men looked at each other before telling the others that they were just going somewhere and followed the girl. The others nodded and went back to talking to Pietro, still not noticing Wanda was gone.

Wanda walked into Nats room, sat by the bed and her eyes started to get teary, she feared they were going to forget her. After a moment or so she let the tears fall and sobbed. Steve and Bucky stood outside the door, they listened to the young girl sobbing before entering the room. "Hello my princess. What's the matter hun?" Steve asked as he crouched in front of the baby and brushed some of her hair behind her ears. She only turned her hair and bought her legs into her chest. "Sweetheart, what's the matter? We can't help you if you don't tell us." Bucky walked up to the girl and placed his hand over her knee.

She looked up at them. Her beautiful Jade eyes are glossy and her checks have clear stain tear marks on them. "Oh honey.." Steve picked up the girl and sat her in his lap. He stood up and sat on Natashas bed, Bucky followed in suite and stroked her hair.

Meanwhile in the other room.. they had finally noticed that Wanda has gone. "Where the girl?" Tony asked. "Wan'a.." Pietro whined. Nat took him in her arms, "It's okay baby. Let's go find her, and the boys then continue."

The all stood up and walked around. They checked bedrooms first yet as they got closer to Nats, the door was open. Nat peeked in side and saw Bucky, Steve and on her bed with Baby Wanda in Steve's lap. She smiled at the sight and knocked on the door before opening it even further. "Hey babe, hey boys." She smiled at them. The boys replied with a hey and Wanda just looked at her the her brother. "Sis.. you otay?" He asks catching the attention of his sister.

She looked at him, her eyes completely glassy and turned her head to face Bucky, away from everyone. "Sis..?" Pietro asks. May say Pietro beside Wanda and Nat sat on the opposite side of Steve. "Awe you otay?" He Pietro asks. Wand shrugs before cuddling close to Steve and Bucky. "Dear we want to help you. What's the matter." Bruce asks. By now all the Avengers have crowded around. Wanda's eyes went to a beautiful vermilion red colour and Pietro closed his eyes. Wanda's eyes went back to the beautiful jade green they where and Pietro looked hurt. "No.. won' do it." Pietro told his sister. The Avengers looked at the two twins. But then they finally understood what the girl meant.

"Of course not, kiddo. No one would ever forget you. Your family to us. You may not wanna talk to us yet but that doesn't matter." Tony crouched down to Wanda's height. A small smile escaped her lips, she clinged onto Tony and he hugged her back.

He gently picked her and Pietro up from the bed and they walked back to the living room.

He sat them down and Steve and Natasha as those two had cuddled up together. Tony done the same with Pepper. Bucky set up a few Disney films.

Throughout the film, no one really paid any attention to it. They mainly looked at the twins. Watching their reactions. How they'd laugh at funny parts, sing during catchy songs, cry during sad parts, cling onto Nat or Steve during the scary parts.

Eventually by the 3rd film, both twins are asleep.

Rhodes POV:

We left Beauty and The Beast on (as that wasvthe film playing now) and we stared talking about the cure. Apparently the cure is a lot harder to make then expected.

A moment later, a knock was heard at the door. "FRIDAY, who is at the door?" Stark asks looking up at the celling. "The presences detected appear to be Ms. Belova and Ms. Bishop." FRIDAY replies. "Alright, let them in." Nat replies, reposting her position so she is sitting up.

A moment later both girls had entered the room. The two girls had gone on a trip to Europe just fun really. They came back yesterday but where to tired to come here straight away so they spent a day at an inn close by.

"Hey guys!" Yelena and Kate called out. We all shushed them. They looked confused until we pointed to the babies on Steve and Nat. "You guys adopted babies?" Yelena whispered yelled. She walked up to us and looked at the twins. "Wait.. where is Wanda and Pietro?" Kate asked. We all placed are eyes onto the twins.

"Wait that's Wanda and Pietro?!" Kate and Yelena whispered. We nodded. "Tony accidentally spilled something onto them and now they are three year olds. So now we are trying to find a cure while looking after them." I reply. Yelena and Kate nodded and sit down on the spare couch.

Eventually we played some more Disney films and let's just say, it was a pretty interesting movie night.
