Third POV
Time~ 8:24 PM

Bella had spent the rest of the day in Ethan's room, watching him make different designs and apply them to different things like hoodies, shirts and sweaters. Even including carpets. Bella enjoyed watching him. He was so focused. She'd watched him do his homework before and he always seemed so bored and casual with it. Like he didn't have to put much thought into it. This however, he clearly put much more effort and thought into.

It was amazing to see someone who had things come to him so easily actually try. It was oddly interesting. Currently, she sat closely behind him. Leaning over his shoulder as he sketched something in his sketch book. She basically pressed against him, watching his hand move the pencil around hypnotically. Suddenly, he stopped and Bella was broken out of her trance.

She went to ask him what was wrong when she heard what had distracted him. Outside his window, it sounded like there was animal eating something. From the growling, they guessed that is was a smaller animal.

"You hear that?" He asked. Bella nodded quietly. It was just then that the doorbell was rang. Samantha and Ross had left at this point and Jane was downstairs watching the movie that all teenager girls were going crazy over, Dusk. Well, all aside from Bella. Not, because she hadn't heard of it. Of course she had, even in Forks. For some reason though, she felt extremely offended by the movie.

"That could only be Benny." Ethan mumbled. "You gonna come down too?" Bella looked at him. Bella had met Benny. Very, very briefly. It was actually more of a 'hi, my name is...' rather than actually meeting. She had barely even remembered him. "Um, sure." She said. "You sure? We're likely just gonna pig out on sugar in the kitchen. You can stay in my room if it want." He said standing up. "No. I'm fine." Ethan nodded and left his room with Bella walking behind him.

Ethan pulled open the door and just as he said, Benny was there with an unnecessary amount of sugary foods in his arms. Benny went to speak, but then he noticed the brunette girl, slightly behind Ethan. At first he thought sister, but then he remembered that Jane was blonde. And eight. He then thought cousin, but that was thrown too. Both Ross and Samantha are only children. No aunts or uncles so it was impossible to have cousins.

He racked his brain for anything on the girl and a vague memory came up on Ethan talking to a girl that looked exactly like this on Skype a few months ago. Slowly, well as slowly as his sugar riddled brain could, he realized what exactly she was to Ethan. Now the hand holding that he didn't fully notice before made sense. Benny frowned, well. He more pouted than frowned.

"Dang it man! Come on!" He exclaimed, dropping the bag of taffy he had between his teeth. Ethan chuckled. "Complain later Benny. Bella, this Benny. My best friend and the most annoyingly self destructive person I know." He said. Benny held out his hand and Bella shook it. "Nice to meet you." He said and the older girl mumbled something akin to the same thing. Benny walked in and straight into the kitchen. Ethan picked up the bag of taffy and closed the door. Bella was following Ethan to the kitchen when she heard a gasp from the couch.

Looking over she saw Jane, Ethan's little sister. An eight year old blonde girl with blue eyes. Bella's eyes widened uncomfortably when she realized that girl was starting directly at her. Jane hopped up and rushed over to Bella. Bouncing excitedly.

"Oh my gosh! You're so pretty!" She exclaimed. Bella internally panicked. "I'm Jane! What's your name?!" She asked excitedly. "Um, Bella." The brunette answered uncomfortable. "Jane, please. She's not used to overly excited little girls yet. Give her some space." Ethan said shooing her back to the couch. Jane wasn't budging though. "Wanna watch Dusk with me?!" Jane asked, completely ignoring her brother. "Um, sorry. I don't really like Dusk." Jane stopped bouncing and her jaw dropped, eyes wide.

"You don't like Dusk?" Bella shifted closer to Ethan. Shaking her head awkwardly. "Have you even seen it?" Bella nodded. "I have. Just not a fan, ya know." Jane didn't answer. She just spun in her heel and walked away. Sitting back on the couch and watching her move. Bella looked confused. "Don't think much on it. She's one of the hardcore Dusk enthusiasts and takes offense to anyone who doesn't like it. Even if you just don't watch it, she considers you an 'enemy'." Ethan described. He then walked into the kitchen.

Bella looked at Jane for a bit more before following. She sat at the table while Ethan and Benny stood, having a contest to see who could fit more marshmallows in their mouths. Benny offered Bella to play, but she politely and quietly declined, simply picking up a Twix bar. As she nibbled on the candy bar, aside Benny loudly counting and Ethan arguing about what the actual number was, she heard thumping. Stopping her chewing, she listened more intently, just to make sure she wasn't hearing things.

Yep, she heard thumping. Reaching out, she tapped her boyfriend on the arm, catching his attention.

"You hear that?" She asked. Ethan stopped and listened. Sure enough, he heard it too. "Hey, Benny stop." He said to his clueless friend. "You think you can trick me? Ha, no way!" The taller boy exclaimed. Ethan ignored this and spat out all of the fluffy white sugar treats and started heading to the front door. Jane was standing there, just about to open it when he stopped her. "Hey, what're doing? Don't go out there." He said. Rushing over and pulling her away from the door. Jane complained, but neither paid much attention to her.

Ethan opened the door and peered out, seeing a large burly boy hitting hockey pucks at the garage door or his house. Ethan sighed and prepared to go out and at least try to deal with the boy. He turned to Bella, about to tell her to stay in the house and make sure Jane doesn't do anything dumb when he heard a swish of wind, clothes rustling and a short yelp. Ethan turned back and saw nothing, but the dropped hockey stick and a small stack of pucks. He blinked in confusion, looking around for any sign of the boy when a shoe dropped out of nowhere. He quickly shut the door with a freaked out expression.

"What? What happened?" Jane asked. "Um. He's gone. Apparently he got bored and just decided to leave." Jane gave him a suspicious glare, but with nothing to go off of, she went back to the living room. Bella gave him a questioning look, not wanting to pry for answers, but still curious. He just shrugged. "I have no idea what happened, but he was gone and his shoe fell from the sky." She nodded. It sounded weird and impossible, but it explains his reaction. Either that or he's paranoid and the guy was just scaring him. Bella couldn't say anything though. She's just as paranoid.
